Cradle of Aviation hosts Grumman's lunar module vets

Would someone tell me WHY this story isn't listed on the top 5 stories they list on the online front page?? And WHY is it not a FULL FRONT PAGE in print?????? This was a HUGE effort for MANY men & women on Long Island...my dad being one of them. Amazing! Such an historic event and Newsday puts it under the list with regular stories....yet the Jonas Brothers get top billing?  (Jul 20, 2009 | post #4)

Many Indian casinos aren't big moneymakers

interesting quote "they have been able to provide for their people in a way that the federal government never did or could have," why would it be the government's responsibility to take care of you? why not take care of yourself?  (May 31, 2009 | post #25)

Yankees, Mets fans refusing to overpay

that sums it up quite accurately. even today's "modestly " priced tickets when added with everything else make it a $400 day. I can't justify that. there is nothing like a day at the park but I either go to minor league ball where possible or watch on TV. Mickey Mantle once said that when prices break the generational (father-son) dynamic, the game will lose its attachment to the american public, this is the start of it. they sell the "experience ", not a day at the ballgame. Go to minor league ball and see some good ball at decent prices.  (May 31, 2009 | post #40)

Jason Gwatlney's run may not be over

no coach will bring him in unless he is desperate, which starts it off as a bad situation. Life is full of these losers. They are given every chance and they dont realize how lucky they are. While its a shame he has squandered that talent, there are less talented that do a whole lot more. I would much rather hear about them. The only thing this guy will be is a good example of what not to do. some HS football coach will tell his players about him so they can avoid his mistakes.  (May 30, 2009 | post #12)

WTC name change called 'unpatriotic'

I agree with Trump!! Why not just put them back the way they were....THE TWIN TOWERS...only this time add one floor to each! That will say to the world, we are still and always will be here! The NY skyline needs to be exactly the way it was! Walking around NYC, you ALWAYS know where you are, just look at the towers and you know. Just build it already! It's a disgrace that it isn't!  (Mar 28, 2009 | post #25)

David Letterman marries longtime girlfriend

It's NY...even without that piece of paper, she gets half. She's been with him since 1986...so pretty much all of his assets were made with her by his side.  (Mar 24, 2009 | post #14)

Survivor: Football players lost at sea took off lifejackets

Here's a thought...maybe it was longer than 4 hrs. The person telling them it was 4 hrs., could also have been delusioned. I seriously doubt anything wrong happened. Just a tragic accident caused by inexperienced boaters. No one in their right mind would have gone out so far, not checked weather and anchored in such high seas. It's been a long time since I've been on a boat, but I remember the rules of boating VERY well.  (Mar 5, 2009 | post #99)
