Here you go Millie - The website to the forum that the son posted on. While I agree that it seems unlikely, it could possibly be true. http://www.topix.n et/forum/city/lees burg-fl/TEO3N8CGE0 JJNB77P  (May 10, 2007 | post #8)

Boy, 13, critically hurt after falling under truck

Taking the entire quote in context, I would agree. It appears her comments are directed more towards the driver rather than Howard. Knowing that he is still in very serious condition, I pray that he can recover.  (Apr 23, 2007 | post #6)

Run-down complex could be town homes

Doug, I agree with you that a lot of the run down apartment complexs should be fixed up rather than torn down. In this case, it is necessary to tear it down before building it back. This complex is crawling with criminals & drug users/addicts/deal ers and most of the buildings have been deemed unlivable. The officials in this case are planning on providing good housing, but have to get rid of the garbage first.  (Apr 11, 2007 | post #2)

Cops pursue SUV sighting in Duckett case

Gatorhippy, I agree that "grandstandin g" was the wrong thing to say. I would NEVER criticize anyone that was/is trying to help find my missing child. On the other hand, I have to say that appearances can go one way or the other. One thing can appear to look one way to one person, and yet look completely different to someone else. As far as Josh's mother, I can understand opening the flower shop in Leesburg. I can see being close to where the main investigation is going on, and yet trying to keep some cash flow coming into the family. I seriously doubt that this family is just living it up on the generous donations of others. If that was true, I'm sure all of the money would have been long gone by now!  (Apr 6, 2007 | post #10)

Cops pursue SUV sighting in Duckett case

As "In It For Trenton" stated, the grandparents that are being referred to are Trenton's ACTUAL grandparents, i.e. Melinda's parents, that do live in New York. Not Melinda's grandparents.  (Apr 6, 2007 | post #9)

Cops pursue SUV sighting in Duckett case

Josh's mother has offered to take a lie detector test. Officials have declined to give her one. This has been widely reported in the news, so please stop spreading this rumor. As far as where the money goes, the reward is up to $21,000 with $10,000 coming from a trust fund that my understanding has been set up from donations. It also is probably used on flyers, gas to put up flyers, the office that Team Trenton is run from, web sites, and necessities that may need to be paid due to the lack of a full time job while searching. What does it really matter, as long as it is going to find him? If you are implying that it has gone to something else, do you have receipts to back it up?  (Apr 6, 2007 | post #8)

Traffic stop nets arrest of major meth supplier

Really? So my stepson should have been left with his mother, even though he was being abused, abandoned and neglected as a direct result of her "personal drug use" - I don't think so!!! The fact remains that the drugs taken during this traffic stop were not just for these individual's "personal " drug use either. They were suppliers.  (Mar 26, 2007 | post #27)

Man jailed in a previous killing is charged again

I don't think it is necessarily the laws. It is the judges that give the individual a small bond amount and basically a "get out of jail" for a small fee card. In Lake county it happens EVERY day!! It is scary some of the criminals and the charges they are facing that are let out easily with a small bond. A lot of judges feel that a bond is required. In Broward county a couple of different judges recently gave the "get of free" card to the same man three times in a row. Each time he was arrested for shooting his wife. I missed whether he killed her or not, but if he hasn't he surely will soon!  (Mar 20, 2007 | post #4)

Arrest of trio, drug seizures cut supply chain, police say

In this area, informers are pretty common. It's a small town and plenty of small town dealers and users to turn to. While I think that Fruitland Park may have just stumbled on this one, thank God for pursuing it and arresting the individuals. Hopefully they will face the time and not be turned out quickly like the Lake County judicial system is so quick to do. God bless the men and women on the front lines arresting the drug dealers!!! God knows it is an uphill battle when the judges just let them off with a slao on the wrist and a "don't do that" again mentality.  (Mar 20, 2007 | post #7)
