Hazing in Warsaw

This was accidently posted on the santorum comment thread-could not figure out to delete it once posted. Isn't it time to stop referring to Warsaw's most recent negative projection as the "alleged " hazing. Or the "alleged responsibility " of the coach. I am appalled by this incident, as I hope many are. Certainly, I am hoping for a major overhaul of the athletic department  (Jan 11, 2012 | post #1)

Save-A-Lot - Smells like an outhouse

you mistakenly assume that i do not pursue alternative food sources-i,too garden-organically, freeze-never can-depletes nutritional value-was raising free range chickens for the eggs (by far the more nutritious) and sometimes-the meat until my zoning board intervened-choose fish and fish products(often that i catch or another family member has caught) over most ANY red meat-carefully monitor my family's nutritional intake-a spousal unit whose various ailments are almost entirely handled with careful dieting, and five children-nary a one even a pound overweight or under(wish i could say the same about myself),we buy positively no frozen prepared foods, we are exterme outdoors people-camping,hiking,fishing,sledding,etc. Neither my cohabitant nor i hunt-he for health reasons-i for the lack of stomach for it,though my son is contemplating taking it up,though we do have friends who are happy to supply us with venison-a meat that must be carefully, and healthily(is that a word?)disguised so that my children will eat it.in addition we are of the philosophy of great introduction of seasonal produce-apples in september, citrus in december/january,strawberries in june, plus my own produce throughout the summer months-as a staple during the various seasons-the philosophy behind this being that there is a natural reason for particular foods to be available to the indigenous people during their seasons.i do smoke, have half heartedly attempted to quit a few times-i recently began making my own wine, so the purchase of beer is a rare thing in this household. i cook everything we eat from scratch except bread, because i am sporadic about keeping up with those supplies.seven people can kill homemade bread in a quarter of the time it takes to make it.buying my flash frozen fish and veges from sav a lot has never backfired on me, nor has the purchase of the other basics and staples i purchase there- i am able to comfortably feed my family of six-home now-the eldest (21) moved out this year-on 100 dollars or less a week, despite the rising costs of grocery products.also, in my research-i found that rabbit is considered one of the most nutritional meats you can eat, and we have discussed raising them for that purpose-the zoning board should not have a problem with that.in conclusion of this particular post-smoking is my habit-one that has already proven its negative affects on my own health, and once i have given it up for good-our family might just e the healthiest one in wyoming county. it seems hypocritical to pursue our diets so- perhaps obsessively- and then sit back after a lovely meal of organically grown vegetables, and broiled fish to smoke a cigarette, but that is my vice-one at some point i will have to give up anyway.  (Dec 18, 2007 | post #7)

Community Assistance in Wyoming County

There are a lot of hungry and/ or unemployed people in this area. Where can they turn to for help? I know of a couple of programs- ATTAIN in Perry- Wyoming Transit runs out there several times a day. ATTAIN is a program set up for people who need self paced employability skills. Freecycle is a great asset if your searching for household items, or clothing for free. There are clothing giveaways throughout the surrounding area. If you know of any others-please post them on here-Warsaw Topix Forum.  (Dec 17, 2007 | post #1)
