Germeraad: Remember our veterans
Thank you Veterans! Kelli, your articles always remind us that we need to do more to support and honor them. Our cub pack is going to try and step it up this year and show our thanks. Keep keeping us informed on ways we can help! (Thursday Nov 19 | post #1)
Solano County food banks see rising need
The cubscouts in our pack collected 600 pounds of food last Saturday. We are proud of the boys for spending several hours each placing door hangers then collecting the food. Thank you to the Vacaville community for sharing your food. (Thursday Nov 19 | post #9)

Way to go to the Scouts and everyone else who helped! For my children, coastal clean up is like an Easter egg hunt. They just love it! (Sep 20, 2009 | post #6)

Changes on the horizon for Nut Tree
My son won a few passes before. We went to redeem them during a school break. The park decided to close after a brief opening that morning. When I tried to find out why would the park be closed extra early on a school break; nobody could tell me why. It wasn't too much longer that the park closed for good. (Apr 27, 2009 | post #34)

Vacaville makes list of top cities
I did a crime search and Vacaville does have some of the lowest crime per person across the country. I'd say that is do to all the low income housing given to the seniors (I'm ok with that), Military families that are the transitional folks in town (I love military people), The long term stable people in town are either church going kind people or personal values based kinda people. I'd say the problems come from wanna be gangster kids and the location on I-80 that leads to quick in and out access to out of town thug criminals. (Apr 25, 2009 | post #41)
New face on Dixon council: No thanks to lazy voters
I wonder if the coppesforcouncil.com website or the city council website will be posting the future council meetings. She had up the last one,(which was really entertaining). I really like catching the meetings on my computer. (Apr 22, 2009 | post #6)
