Emmer exits, with honor

Kudos Mr. Emmer. I'm not afraid to admit I voted absentee for you because you talked straight and I believed you weren't full of empty promises. I hope I return to a Minnesota that can work together for the better of the people..ALL people of Minnesota deserve a government that works FOR the people...Thanks for the effort Mr. Emmer you showed true class before, during and after the race for office. Good Luck  (Dec 9, 2010 | post #4)

At St. Paul 'wet house,' liquor can be their life -- and ...

I have read every comment on this article and this comment hits the nail on the head. I have had my alcohol related run ins with the law, my wife and "others" . I agree, send any young person or repeat offender with alcohol related offenses to work in and with the guys that CHOOSE to be drunks. It may just open their eyes to responsible drinking or a complete sober lifestyle....I know it would have changed my outlook on drinking if I had to clean up, pick up or supply these DRUNKS, who CHOOSE this lifestyle with a clean place to "live"  (Dec 7, 2010 | post #304)

Sounds good, Where shall I tell them your company is? I'm sure you'd hire these guys to work with/for your company...You realize these men probably haven't had a job for many years and wouldn't now the first thing to "do" at a job...or the attire or an alarm clock to wake them up to be on time...then you'd complain that these "bums" aren't pulling their weight and need to be fired...come on pal, come up with a better solution  (Dec 6, 2010 | post #210)
