Yang outduels Tiger to grab victory at PGA Championship

Good win for Yang. FYI, the Korean "kid" is 37.  (Aug 16, 2009 | post #2)

Tiger, you're in denial: Just look at scoreboard

I think the point is that it's getting old hearing how Tiger should have won. No credit goes to the golfer or golfers who finish ahead of him. No one except him wins a tournament, he gives the tournament away. When you consider that Bethpage is very long, it was very wet and Tiger is not driving the ball as far as he used to, it was a great effort that he finished as high as he did. I didn't pick him as a fantasy golfer because of this.  (Jun 23, 2009 | post #9)

Tiger Woods says his late dad still advises him while pla...

Really? Tiger can't stand not having the attention. Sounds like he is envious of the sympathy, fan support given to Phil and is trying to remind folks of his loss. I hope he is being sincere, but I doubt it.  (Jun 22, 2009 | post #1)

Feherty, always with a quip, catching heat for joke on Co...

Feherty fell into a trap several sports journalists fall into. They think they are real journalists. Stick to writing about sports, with politics they are out of their depth. He wouldn't have made the same joke about Osama, Kobe and Shaq because it would be in bad taste. The real point is, the joke wasn't funny. Feherty has been great with the troops so I think he deserves a pass for an error in judgement.  (May 9, 2009 | post #1)

Woods jumps out to the lead at Quail Hollow

Great first round for Tiger. Really good field at this tournament. Wonder why none of them could show up at the Zurich open outside of New Orleans. I'm sure they have their reasons, but it would have been nice.  (Apr 30, 2009 | post #1)

Phil would never make that commercial with Tiger

I thought it was damn funny. Nothing wrong with making fun of yourself. Unfortunately for Phil the reason he never would have made that commercial is that he didn't win anything when Tiger was out.  (Mar 20, 2009 | post #2)

Tiger falls to Clark in match play event

By the way, the new Nike commercial with Tiger, Justin Leonard, Anthony Kim et al. is hilarious.  (Feb 27, 2009 | post #4)

Tiger falls to Clark in match play event

I have to agree that Tiger is great for the sport and especially in this economy. I'm not a big fan of Tiger, and I hate the fawning and sucking up ESPN and everyone else gives to him. But, you can't argue he was the best out there for the last 10 years. He's made people watch and go to tournaments who normally wouldn't. He's gotten people to play the game. A good example is that I haven't watched much golf since he's been out. I tuned in at 2 on both Wednesday and Thursday. But I didn't watch today. I wasn't interested.  (Feb 27, 2009 | post #3)

Give it a rest, lighten up and have a beer and a brat. Seems like you have more risk of colon cancer from the stick up your bum than any sausage you may eat!!  (Oct 11, 2008 | post #7)

Azinger tells fans its okay to cheer when Europeans miss

Nothing wrong with a few Bud Lights when playing golf. You still shoot terrible and lose balls but you don't care as much. If it wasnt for the beers, my golf game would be downright miserable. Now it's just bad.  (Sep 23, 2008 | post #16)

Azinger tells fans its okay to cheer when Europeans miss

Whatever, even in the worst of times, and these are not them, people look for distraction from their day to day problems, and golf is one of them whether you play it or watch. What sport isn't a child like thing to do? So please, I implore you, post your childish, conspiracy theory political opinion on an appropriate forum and leave us to argue if it's ok to cheer if the Europeans miss a putt.  (Sep 20, 2008 | post #4)
