The price depends on the aircraft you ride in, but it's usually several hundred bucks, which gets you bragging rights to die for and the ride of a life time. (Apr 30, 2009 | post #2)
Gypsy, most parishes in Louisiana have baptism records, marriage record from the various churches on file. In Houston I've been able to research my family history in St Mary's Parrish using these types of sources. Try using the public library for your research. Most public libraries have a subscription to several genealogy websites and micro fiche of census data. Maybe that work around will help. Look in the older data for other relatives, your father...uncles or aunts ect. that you may be able to contact to get any information about your father during those years. In past generations families stayed closer together you can get a sense of that from the way the data is recorded as the census worker went from farm to farm. Look at baptisms to see if he is listed as a parent of another child and try and contact them. Most of the genealogy sites will let you post request for info on their sites. Build out the family tree around your dad and see where it takes you. (Jan 21, 2009 | post #6)
Wheatley High teacher in court on drug charges; HISD to start r...
Attaboy HISD it's about time you stopped focusing on that lousy "no child left behind crap." I don't see how "no doper left behind" is going to raise test score, ease over crowding in class room or increase the morale of under-paid teachers. (Dec 11, 2008 | post #1)
Game show contestant shares winnings with Houston Food Bank
Hats off to Louise a Christian who not only talks the talk, but walks the walk. If a few of the Wall Street fat cats follow her lead and through in some of their bonus money, we could end hunger one state at a time. (Nov 12, 2008 | post #3)
