Stone Temple Pilots reunion is a hit
I'd be surprised if there wasn't at least an attempt at a pit. There is plenty of room for one since there are no fixed chairs. Knowing Musikfest though I'd also be surprised if anyone involved witht he pit wasn't immediately ejected. It should be interesting. (5 hrs ago | post #20)
Fencing it off and charging admission would essentially turn Musikfest into another Mayfair. If that ever happens that will be the end of Musikfest as far as I am concerned. I agree that Musikfest/ArtsQues t should be responsive to reasonable requests of the people who live in the immediate area but moving it off of main street is not a solution that Musikfest should consider if it wants to remain sucessful. Musikfest Review: Poison still has its chemistry
I'm not saying it was quiet but I don't think it was as loud as it was supposed to be. Usually I think the audio is too loud at concerts and in this case my ears were comfortable through the whole thing, that is usually a sign that something is wrong with the audio. The crowd was really into it, it was a great show and I'm looking forward to STP tonight! (10 hrs ago | post #21)
Rendell is going to give out the money one way or another. I would much rather have it spent here than elsewhere in the state. (10 hrs ago | post #14)
Musikfest Review: Poison still has its chemistry
I thought the show was fun. I will say that the audio was pretty low, but they sounded great. The show length was just right, any longer and they would have had to of played a bunch of unknown songs as filler. (Yesterday | post #15)
Have you been living there for more than 25 years? If not you should have known what you were getting yourself into when you moved there. If you don't like the smell of pigs don't move next door to a pig farm. (Yesterday | post #32)
Bethlehem bars during Musikfest
Yes but I don't get there to often anymore, now that I have a little one at home. I love their appetizers. (Wednesday | post #25)
Bethlehem bars during Musikfest
Thanks, you bring up a good point. Many bars complain that sales are down because of DUI fears. Here's a way for them to all pool together and bring customers back in. (Tuesday Aug 5 | post #22)

Who says the city (tax dollars) has to pay for it? Why not use the hotel tax or even a small tax on alcohol receipts? I would have to think insurance company's would feel a little better about insuring a bar if they provided this service as well. (Tuesday Aug 5 | post #20)
Bethlehem to lose secret parking spots
He's doing a great job and this trail will be a great addition to the city. (Tuesday Aug 5 | post #35)
Bethlehem to lose secret parking spots
I agree with you. It would be nice if we had rail service but its not happening anytime soon, it won't happen on that land if it ever does happen. Bethlehem is doing the city a favor by cleaning that strip up and making it a biking/walking/run ning path. It might not take the number of cars off the road that rail would but it helps. Bethlehem to lose secret parking spots
I doubt that conrail ever made complaints, that is why people got away with it for so long. (Tuesday Aug 5 | post #33)
