US Incarceration Infographic

The drug war is a war on the common man. That's why one in thirty two Americans are in prison right now. How's that for the land of the free?  (Jun 20, 2011 | post #5)

Marijuana - Springfield, MO

Marijuana is safer than pretty much anything humans consume and it's time for our society to realize that. "Reefer Madness" needs to be laid to rest.  (May 25, 2011 | post #96)

There are answers that don't involve us radiating our brains into scrambled eggs. I believe hemp farming is that answer. It's good for the land and non-toxic to humans and animals.  (Mar 30, 2011 | post #2)

it's better than medication because there is a risk of overdose from 'medication'. There is no such risk associated with using cannabis. It is virtually non-toxic to our systems.  (Jan 28, 2011 | post #189)

Gun Control - Tulsa, OK

Criminals will get their hands on weapons no matter what...the law-abiding citizens have the right to protect themselves. It's common sense.  (Jan 28, 2011 | post #69)

Oklahoma Budget Crisis Could Lead To Major Changes

Legalize cannabis in Oklahoma and watch the money and jobs flow in. Stop prosecuting responsible adult marijuana smokers and see all the money our state will save. Have our law enforcement officers stop arresting for possession and see how many more violent crimes get solved.  (Dec 11, 2010 | post #2)

Hero or villain?

I like what Ron Paul has to say on the issue: I agree whole-heartedly: "In a free society, we are supposed to know the truth. In a society where truth becomes treason, however, we are in big trouble. The truth is that our foreign spying, meddling, and outright military intervention in the post-World War II era has made us less secure, not more. And we have lost countless lives and spent trillions of dollars for our trouble. Too often "official " government lies have provided justification for endless, illegal wars and hundreds of thousands of resulting deaths and casualties. " And here's the rest of the article if anyone cares to know what people who use logic think: http://paul.house. gov/index.php?opti on=com_content &view=article &id=1802:focus -on-the-policy-not -wikileaks&cat id=31:texas-straig ht-talk  (Dec 9, 2010 | post #71)

And we'll probably never know the true extent of the corruption but you can trust that it's bad and it's twisted and it's OUR government. What can be done?  (Dec 8, 2010 | post #94)
