Wow, you really hate it when you're proven wrong. Sorry, but anyone who's biased and has a need to justify their hate will read whatever they want to into these commentaries. Wayne, It cracks me up when you hand me a URL which only proves my side. Where in this commentary is a condemnation against homosexuality as we know it? This commentary only assure me the verse has everything to do with "preserving the marriage bed" and the sin is mostly about idolatry: Here is, I. A general law against all conformity to the corrupt usages of the heathen (v. 1-5). II. Particular laws, 1. Against incest (v. 6–18). 2. Against beastly lusts, and barbarous idolatries (v. 19–23). III. The enforcement of these laws from the ruin of the Canaanites (v. 24–30). Here is, I. A law to preserve the honour of the marriage-bed, that it should not be unseasonably used (v. 19), nor invaded by an adulterer, v. 20.II. A law against that which was the most unnatural idolatry, causing their children to pass through the fire to Moloch, v. 21. Wayne, Once again you're inferring the 'abomination' is "zimah" but it's "toebah" which is used for ritual transgressions. Do you even realize where 18:22 falls into Leviticus? It is NOT listed with the other sexual sins (Lev 18:1-20) but comes right after scripture forbidding us to sacrifice children to Molech (18:21). And, yes, N2 - I realize you're going to tell me you've proved me wrong by posting scholarly comments but you've yet to actually back that up as fact (besides saying "Because I say so") nor have you clued me in on how "sounds like adultery" is somehow a scholarly comment.  (9 hrs ago | post #160)

That 3% is from the CDC calling people's homes: "Oh, honey, the government is on the phone... They'd like to know if you've ever got it on with another guy." Give me a break. A Topix poll had the number at 20% with another 20% being totally straight.
