Oh I am ABSOLUTLY NOT saying we are never wrong. I fully admit that it took us way too long on the trash truck (not an insult BTW-it really is a commercial garbage truck). But any issues with us or about us should be handled between us and the customer. NOT a bunch of immature folks just trying to get attention on a place like this. Some people who have jumped on the bandwagon have NO CLUE about the situation being talked about and try to invent their own spin on it. If its not your vehicle, why comment? Its true that you can't please everyone. We hate to lose most customers. But it happens and the show must go on. Like most people this year our business had its ups and downs. This summer (mostly due to personal issues) was a rough one for us (me in particular). Thats not being said as an excuse but as a fact. We appreciate our customers and wish the best to those who chose to go elsewhere We will continue to put our customers first and encourage them to talk to us face to face like adults if there is a problem. As for me, I don't have time to play with you on here anymore. I have better things to do with my time than continue with this back and forth. So round up your posse and have at it. For those who are interested, we still offer: Free Towing in Searcy w/repairs. Free Diagnostics w/repairs. We all accept credit/debit cards. We will open on Saturdays if the need arises. Any questions or concerns DON'T HESITATE to call. We can provide plenty of references if needed. Have a blessed day :-)  (Oct 10, 2012 | post #46)

Yea Rodney will tell you...I have to keep that man on a VERY short leash LMAO!!!! (Rodney don't tell him I said that lol) What the matter, can't handle an adult argument with a woman? Must be my oily hair....oh my. This is a hoot! FYI- I don't have to defend him or myself for that matter. All your doing is posting repeated personal attacks and commenting on situations that you don't have a clue about. Its actually quite sad...and still a little humerous. Have at it "guest" or whichever ID you chose next. At the end of the day, we'll still be here with some of the best customers in White County. Have a blessed day :-)  (Oct 8, 2012 | post #42)

Sorry I don't recognize the name Joe Cantrell. Most of my husbands kinfolk are from around Russellville and southe Louisiana. I know there are some Cantrells from around Bald Knob but they are not related to us :-)  (Oct 8, 2012 | post #41)

dang guess you missed it "guest" My name IS posted for all to see earlier in the thread. That would be "bosslady " Mary Cantrell (aka M Cantrell). Sorry but if you'd like to speak to "bossman " Steve Cantrell, please feel free to stop by the shop anytime. Address is in the book. How's that for an "ideal" idea lol. SO easy to hide behind a computer. As for our credentials...we do JUST fine as our thousands of mature customers can attest to. Bossman doesn't have time to play on the computer like I do. Does it bother you that I'm woman who know her business? You really are cute I must say :-)  (Oct 8, 2012 | post #40)

I don't have to explain away anything. Facts are facts. All your doing is making yourself look more childish by the post. But go ahead cuz you really are entertaining me at this point. By the way, I have been known to wear white after labor day...I know unbelievable right? Definitly shouldn't do business with someone who wears white after labor day LOL  (Oct 5, 2012 | post #21)

They" dont have their vehicle (a trash truck) because the transmission went out (which we NEVER replaced). We rebuilt the engine in this truck and the crankshaft rod was defective and failed several months after the original repair to the engine. It was still under warranty with us (barely) and yes we had to pay for the repairs out of our own pockets because according to the parts supplier they WOULD NOT cover the warranty due to it being a commercial vehicle. But because we honor what we say we did warranty the job thru us and out of our own pockets. They were told it had to paid for out of our pocket and yes it did take longer than we would have liked....no argument there. But WHO R YOU? Obviously not the customer. But since you are so close to the situation...how many repairs have been made for this trash business where NO MONEY changed hands? And you have the nerve to get on a place like this and trash talk us? Really...wow Guess we'll have to contact Jeff and see whats up. Thanks  (Oct 5, 2012 | post #20)

Hmmm very brave for someone who won't identify themselves...and I AM NOT THE SECRETARY just FYI I am half owner. How very mature of you to have to result in high school insults to get attention. Geez... Grow up!  (Sep 24, 2012 | post #12)

I just LOVE how this was twisted lol Here's the facts: On July 10th, 2012 J. Hunt came to my auto repair shop (Cantrell's Auto Repair-C.A.R.S) with a complaint of a short in the grounding of the electrical system. They requested only a diagnostic be done and no repairs be made. They indicated they had limited funds and would have to wait till a later date to fix it. We explained that occasionally when tracing this type of problem, it must be fixed to make sure there are no other problems in the system. We tested all grounding points on the engine harness and ran a diagnostic scan which showed a defective PCM. We called the customer and informed them the cost for us to repair could come in at $600-$800 dollars or they could pay $137.50 plus tax (total $155.33) for the diagnostic and when they brought the vehicle back for repair we would reimburse the cost of diagnostic (minus tax) from the bill. We DID NOT buy the PCM. Nor did we tell them to buy one. It states on their invoice that "all test lead back to a defective PCM." We was not authorized to pull off the fuel rail harness but to only test the grounding points. If allowed to do the repairs, they would not have been charged for a PCM unless it fixed the problem. However with some electrical issues the short in the harness will in fact cause the PCM to fail. So replacing the PCM would possibly still have been necessary. We have no way to know this as fact as we was not authorized to test any further. We DO NOT do repairs unless authorized to do so. We tell people UP FRONT that there is a diagnostic charge if repairs ARE NOT MADE. We refund that charge if the vehicle is brought back at a later date for repairs. Call around and see how many shops have a policy like this. Most WILL NOT refund the diagnostic. BTW this case was submitted to the BBB by the Hunts (one of only 3 in the last 10 yrs) and was found in our favor (as were the other 2).  (Sep 24, 2012 | post #10)

Thought it was $150 on the radiator hose Brandon lol. As I said hopefully nothing ever breaks on your car again from repairs made a year ago to unrelated parts. If your dad had issues with repairs he should have brought it back and we would have warrantied it (if it was parts we replaced). If there were issues with the cost, something should have been said up front. We ALWAYS give the cost of repairs BEFORE doing the job. PERIOD. Its up to the customer to either accept our cost or go elsewhere. Your upset because a 12yr old car with almost 150,000 miles started needing repairs and for some unknown reason you believe the few repairs that were made should have restored your vehicle to new. Doesn't work that way. BTW this is the boss woman (his partner in the business). You have a blessed day Brandon  (Sep 24, 2012 | post #34)
