Wie up to seventh in world

Yani flat out beat Michelle today, and Michelle stated as much, no excuses, just got outplayed and she admitted it.  (Sep 12, 2010 | post #18)

Wie rings up a 28 on first nine holes in Arkansas

Great round for her, but she still has some business to take care of tomorrow. It would be really nice to see her win two in a row though.  (Sep 11, 2010 | post #2)

And still the spiteful comments continues?? What else will you guys find to crap on her about next??, Come on. What does she have to do to really be No.7 in the world in your minds?? Come on guys, let it go already. She's paid her dues with two years of hatred being spewed on her, isn't that enough? Just let her golf guys, and lets cheer for all the wahine golfers of the LPGA. Every single one of those LPGA Ladies probably would kick our asses on the course! LOL Cheers to all of you, let's golf and continue to search for those elusive Birdies!  (Sep 11, 2010 | post #10)

Wie pulls out of LPGA Championship - Hawaii Sports

First of all Tiger did not have a 'broken' leg, it was a hairline fracture. Regardless of that he did play well but also was putting his golfing career in jeopardy. And given Michelle's past mistake of coming back too soon from her wrist injury, she has done the right thing to not make that misjudgement again. You also forget that she too was playing one of the better rounds of anyone that played in those howling afternoon conditions, as low as -3at one point. And that she was trying to play through the obvious pain to support the LPGA because, whether you want to admit it or not, she is one of the bigger draws of fans and interest. As for all those quotes you posted, those are things that people think and say, Michelle has never stated anything of that nature, she merely wants to play golf. Painless golf.  (Nov 20, 2009 | post #6)

LPGA Tour Championship: First-round tee times and TV sche...

I'm sorry but your ignorance is showing through your vulgar mean-spiritedness. She 'DID' win with the injury last week, with no excuses. Even through today, despite her limping badly and being unable to finish her swing, she still was managing a round as low as -3, before she succumbed to the injury and made the bogey & double coming in. -2 was the best of the afternoon rounds from what I understand, so Michelle's E in the afternnon howling winds is pretty damn good for playing with one bad ankle. Why do you still have so much hatred for her?  (Nov 19, 2009 | post #6)

Wie a winner at last - Hawaii Sports

Hey the fact is that Michelle won. So all the haters can continue their sad attacks against her, but that won't change the fact that she is a Champion. Oh and BTW, she 'WILL' win again, you can quote me on that one. ;)  (Nov 17, 2009 | post #89)

Wie should think about bringing the trophy home - Hawaii ...

No to Michelle Wie Invitational. Perhaps her win may resparjk some interest in potential new (or former) sponsors, but I feel she needs to blossom more in her career before she ventures into something of that nature. She needs to gain more respect from all the other players by winning several more tournaments before she can be considered to have enough 'mettle' to have her 'invitations' taken seriously enough by all the world's best female golfers. JMHO.  (Nov 17, 2009 | post #5)

But the funniest thing about all that?, is that not one of those guys can outdrive Michelle! Too funny, LMAO.  (Nov 16, 2009 | post #15)

Wie lives up to the hype at Solheim - Hawaii Sports

They weren't better than her this week. Atleast now you are adjusting your commentary about her from 'she's an overhyped phony who never was really that good to begin with', to 'Maybe she'll win one if the field is weak enough', and now to 'We never said she wouldn't ever win one, but that she's not the best' Looks like backpeddling to me guys. LMAO Why not just say right now how many times you think she'll win next year? One?, Two?, None?. I say there's a good chance she'll win more than one. How's that? That's my prediction for her next year. Hell, she may even once more 'THIS' year. lmao  (Nov 16, 2009 | post #416)

Here I thought all these haters would finally just lay off of her. I guess I was wrong. That's kinda sad in a way.  (Nov 16, 2009 | post #6)

Kawika, are you really so dissatisfied with your own life that all you have to contribute here is continued hatred towards an American young lady who is only following her dreams? Oh and BTW, she's getting straight A's at Stanford. How'd you do in College? Or should I ask how you did in High School? As for UC Davis, that is one powerhouse of a football program! I've heard so much about them and their incredibly difficult strength of schedule.  (Nov 16, 2009 | post #34)

Just wanted to drop in and applaud all those that stood by Michelle even through the low points, because now we can celebrate her first win and look forward to an extremely bright future ahead. And I also hope that all those that disliked her because they felt that she never was any good or was never going to get her game back, will now at the very least cut her some slack and stop being so meanspirited towards her. Give her a chance guys.  (Nov 16, 2009 | post #31)

Again, nothing positive, only dwelling on negative aspects. Michelle is doing fine, and she will do fine next year and forward as well. If she wins, she wins, if she doesn't, would be unfortunate since she came close so many times. Regardless that she didn't get it done when she had her chances, she is still extremely young, and I foresee a shietload more opportunities coming in the years, and 'years' to come. I'll tell you what motorsport, we'll see in about 5 years, who is ranked where. All those first time winners this year and last, compared to Michelle. If they have won again by then and Michelle hasn't, then I'll bow to you and say that you were right all along. However!,if they hadn't won nothing else and Michelle wins a shietload of times by then, you must agree to state on open forum that you were a _ _ _ _ _ _ _. Deal? ;)  (Oct 17, 2009 | post #310)

So you call what you post about Michelle as just mere observations? You almost never have anything positive to say about her nor anyone else here that has a differing view of her. It's one thing to say that you aren't a fan and that you feel she never will be any good, but to come out of your way to find these Wie threads and take pot-shot after pot-shot at a young American who is trying to follow her dreams, well 'THAT' I call 'HATE' brah. And you almost always escalate your negativity into snide and basically obnoxious comments towards others. Thus why I am suggesting that you move on to more agreeable or healthier threads so you can focus on the positives in life. Because dwelling on negativity almost always leads to people to become losers in life and not winners, and I believe that you surely try to be mostly a winner in life, no? Suit yourself, if you feel you 'MUST' dwell here in the Wie threads spewing your negativity, that's your prerogative, but I think that you have more to offer Topix than mere negativity. Post positive things about things that you love, like motor sports. Cheers Bro.  (Oct 17, 2009 | post #308)

Hey Motorsport, I think that you should step aside if you hate Michelle so much. Why such effort put forth to spew hatred towards her and others here? Just let it go and move on brah, you'd be much happier and much healthier as well.  (Oct 17, 2009 | post #305)
