Banks and Morgage Companies Loan Modification Scam

A number of Mortgage companies and Banks to include Morgan Stanley Home Loans, Discover Home Loan, and Wachovia have engaged in very deceiving attempt to foreclose on home owners without their knowledge. Request for Loan modification filed by home owners as early as October 2008, are intentionally being prolonged by the banks and mortgage companies, with the sole intent the home owner will no longer be able to catch up with late payments resulting in the lost of their homes. Most of these lenders have instructed and trained their loan modification specialists to stall home owners when they call to inquire about modifications submitted over three months ago. Once the home owner is trapped in 4 late payments, the same loan modification specialist will attempt to force a re-finance on the home owner, charging them an abundant of high fees and interest rates.  (Jan 13, 2009 | post #2)
