"Now that the eurozone has backed away from disaster due to the ECB's new bond program and Germany's cooperation, all eyes are turning across the Atlantic." the above tells me that the above writer thinks you can fix things in 'make believe'. hope for it and it will happen. not enough money? problem, go outside to the money tree and pick some. we don't have a aaa currency in the usa, so why to we want to have one, in name only? we don't have the political will, to make specific budget cuts, so non-specific cuts are the only way we will get them, so we should rejoice, not fret. we have to face facts......our gov't has broken our country, and now we will all have to face some austerity, in order for balance to be restored. we can't continue to be children playing 'make believe'  (Sep 25, 2012 | post #1)

i can fix our problems

1- term limits 2- loser pays 3- fair tax 4- defense...not offense 5- balanced budget done! all other issues stem from the above base issues, and talking about anything other than base issues, is just a gov't tactic to keep the public confused  (Sep 25, 2012 | post #1)

Should we stop encouraging home ownership?

gov't just can't help has to create problems so it has something to fix(?). the economy works just fine without gov't tinkering. gov't has a use, but that use is, and should be VERY limited. defense (not offense), interstate/Prov interation, and country interaction......A ND THAT IS IT! the rest will take care of itself.....period  (Sep 25, 2012 | post #1)
