Welcome to Project LIFT (Life Initiatives for Teens)

Do you have any tools (hand tools or power tools) in your shed or garage that you are not using? If so, Project LIFT would love to put them to good use as participants in the program learn auto repair, carpentry, boat building and more - from trained professionals. Please let us know. http://projectlift Project L.I.F.T. (Life Initiatives for Teens) is an organization with a primary investment in the lives of "at-risk " youth. Project LIFT was developed by Bob Zaccheo, a life long Treasure Coast resident as well as Licensed Psychotherapist and Certified Substance Abuse Expert. Zaccheo recognized the incredible need to address mental health issues with youth who are in the throes of substance abuse, depression, anxiety and family conflict. Project LIFT provides an opportunity that combines job-training, community service and behavior modification with pioneering community solutions in hard economic times. "At-risk " youth members of Project LIFT have the opportunity to literally affect the lives of hundreds of individuals through innovative interventions and service learning experiences. By introducing skills that will inspire youth to explore opportunities to be successful outside of delinquent behavior, Project LIFT challenges youth both physically and mentally while they interact with positive mentors. Project LIFT is committed to creating independent, competent and productive citizens of the community. .com/watch?v=CjRfg QTqQeo  (Apr 13, 2013 | post #1)

Christmas Boat Parade with Capt. Tommy Pearson

Watching the yachts and boats richly decorated with animated Christmas scenes, the guests of The Stuart Paddlewheel Boat had a boatload of fun, enjoying the best food prepared fresh right onboard and the full-service bar, dancing to Mark and the Twains live band. It was a wonderful experience we are glad to recommend. It was a great pleasure to meet one of Capt. Tommy’s friends Pat Alton from Hometown News among the guests! .com/watch?v=RqHE5 5GtJHY  (Jan 27, 2013 | post #1)
