AT&T adding 475 jobs in state

I personally can't wait to tell Comcast to take a hike. I welcome ATT and U-verse. I've never had issues with them in the 10 years I've had DSL/phone service.  (Sep 18, 2007 | post #4)

Longtime Indy florist to close Friday

I guess this is yet another family-owned business pushed out by higher property taxes, and the fact we can get foreign-made flowers cheaper. When are we [Americans] going to wake up and realize that greed is going to run the USA into the ground.  (Aug 8, 2007 | post #2)

Court ruling could void IMPD arrests

At the least she could have been held on a citizen's arrest until someone that got sworn in could formally arrest her. Another case of unjust lawsuit...  (Aug 7, 2007 | post #30)

Indianapolis singles' connection businesses to merge

www.indysinglescen - I've been to many of these and they are unique and great. They offer an opportunity to meet other singles without the pressure of a first date.  (Aug 6, 2007 | post #3)

Off-road rollover kills girl, 10

There is a mandatory requirement by ATV dealers to "offer" training on proper use and handling of these vehicles. Most, if not all purchasers choose to defer training. It is tragic about the loss but this is a motorized vehicle and should not be handled without adult supervision.  (Jul 24, 2007 | post #9)

Cash offered in anti-smoking campaign

Why not include those that NEVER smoked? Why can't people just be happy with better health instead of having to dangle some carrot for incentive?  (Jul 19, 2007 | post #10)

Arson trial set for Morgan Co. sheriff's son

You have the right as an adult to request a bench trial. There is nothing suspicious about this. I believe they are doing the right thing by bringing in outside help.  (Jul 18, 2007 | post #7)

Goodbye, BMV; dealerships can do it ASAP

Extra cost for convenience? Just another reason to rape us for providing something better. It probably takes less BMV employees to manage this as well since I suspect it's automated data transfer to the BMV. They just add the extra cost because they can AND because they have to pay someone new to sit on their a** now.  (Jul 15, 2007 | post #9)

We're sorry The article link is not valid or the article ...

What people don't know is that the Sheriff's salary may be what they state but he also gets a portion of every delinquent tax collected in Marion County. This makes his annual "income" in the hundreds of thousands and by the time he retires, he will be a very wealthy millionaire.  (Jun 25, 2007 | post #45)

Man dies after shooting near club

You moron - forget that just last weekend, 7000 motorcyclists gathered and raised over $335,000.00 for Riley Hospital in a little thing called the Miracle Ride. What have you done lately to contribute to society except write ingorant messages like the one above. What a putz. This had nothing to do with motorcycling I suspect; just an unfortunate situation where stupid people are doing stupid things. Quite trying to associate bad things with motorcyclists.  (Jun 7, 2007 | post #17)

Motorcycle crash kills one

Yes, the one and only but I wasn't riding a motorcycle and I did have my seatbelt on. For the rest of you, Indiana DOES have a helmet law (for those riders under 18 and those who carry a permit).  (May 23, 2007 | post #48)
