crazy bitch did it, i would really love to sit down and listen to the reasoning behind a not guilty vote given the evidence they heard and what i heard.. i mean WTF?!!? who makes an accident look like a murder and then the jury convicts her of lying.. hmm maybe that's because you couldn't trust a damn thing she said.. dummies  (Aug 12, 2011 | post #11)

um you're foolish.. looks at places with the strictest gun control measures, they have the HIGHEST violent crime rates.. dc, mass, cali, etc.. gun control takes firearms away from law abiding citizens not criminals.. if criminals know they can mug someone or go into a house and not worry about there being a gun on the other side then your way of thinking just made it easier for criminals.. as far as your "armed security" thought, vermont has had 3 murders this year, not month, YEAR!!!! did you know there is NO law on concealed weapons in vermont? if you're over 21 and are not a felon or convicted of domestic abuse, you can own a pistol and go practically anywhere concealed without a license.. yet there's VERY VERY little violent crime.. i'd say this is one thing vermont is doing right and it obviously shows, it was a horrible tragedy that took place, but nothing pisses me off more then libtards screaming for more gun control and more government involvement because some dummy lost his cool.. if people are going to commit crimes they're going to do so with or without strict gun control laws in place.. if he had used a bat or tire iron would you be trying to outlaw either of those?? be proactive, not reactive  (Aug 12, 2011 | post #125)

i decided to join because i knew there were only seasonal jobs for the most part around wilmington/dover, and i didn't want to go to college just to drink and build up a massive amount of debt and i've had grandfathers in both the navy and army but i wanted to try what everyone calls the hardest, i saw it as a challenge.. i joined nov 2000 went to parris island graduated feb 01 deployed to the med and afghanistan on sept 19th 2001, we were the first marines in, then i went back to afghanistan in 2003, then extended my original contract to deploy again in 2004 to iraq we were there in the fall for the fallujah & ramadi offensive, came back in spring 2005, got out, then joined back up in the reserves a year later, deployed again to afghanistan in 2009/10 and i've been a full time infantry instructor since last summer training folks on basic skills they need regardless of their MOS.. that's a down and dirty on why i joined and what i've done.. it's a job, kids crying about not being able to get a job should go ahead and join, it builds work ethic, a sense of belonging, and pays alright with housing and benefits... so do tell mr. mulligan what's your story i'm all ears  (Aug 10, 2011 | post #3)

mike do some research.. you pop off at the mouth yet you know nothing and you argue with people by making statements instead of providing any kind of information, what have you done in your life? where have you gone besides vermont? i wasn't a marine why because i don't agree with you? actually that would be pretty typical of a marine because you're a spineless libtard with absolutely no sense whatsoever!!!  (Aug 10, 2011 | post #86)

you know? how so? i know you weren't mike, were you a draft dodger or just a hippie in vt supporting communism?? i've been in 11 years, all infantry with 4 combat deployments, 01-02, 03, 04-05, 09-10.. and actually marines i know do talk like this because retarded liberals are the problem in this country.. how was i so wrong with my comments? you come at me but you never give any reasoning or information to back it.. one second you're against big business, then you're against mom and pop stores you jump from side to side so much you don't even know who the hell you're trying to defend and support.. i said something bad about PP (sorry i don't support tax dollars going to whores getting abortions as a means of birth control), and you call me a hate monger but that's it, you say nothing more.. come on dummy give some reasoning behind your comment..  (Aug 10, 2011 | post #77)

exactly dummy!!!!!! big companies for the most part have to follow by a set of rules, mom and pop stores do not!!!! well the people have a voice halfwit!!! you and your buddies put the smoke and snacks down, run the mom and pop stores out of town and get some businesses in there that will provide jobs and benefits so brattleboro can come join the others in the 21st century..  (Aug 10, 2011 | post #72)

you just said at the beginning that he probably wasn't bad off, but regardless that's foolish to justify someone killing another because he was going to or was already fired.. look you got fired, pick up and move on, go to walmart and get benefits.. most everyone has gotten fired or let go from something in their life, your life doesn't end unless you roll over and give up.. he was a weak spineless individual that's all.. and hell it's not like losing a job there was going to be a huge loss of income i'm sure so go find another cheap paying job somewhere else.. i've never been nitpicked by a boss unless it was my own fault, now i'm a damn good and hard worker and it's because when i was younger people got on my ass if i screwed up, just like now i'm the one getting onto people when they're being lazy or screwing up, that's how the world of working goes..  (Aug 10, 2011 | post #69)

i understand and am aware that the entire nation is doing horrible and i completely agree that spending needs to be cut, planned parenthood was a good start i saw that brattleboro's old PP is now a vet clinic :D they should put up a sign saying "no more whores, bring in the puppies" lol.. but vermont in general has a very high cost of living period, i was up there recently visiting and i was amazed at how much more groceries, hygiene products and everything else was, not even mentioning the cost of a new house up there.. hell my house would go for almost a million up there where it only cost me 140K down here.. property taxes are a fraction here compared to vt because you have businesses paying more of the pie so that you don't have to..  (Aug 10, 2011 | post #65)

you don't think he could've been a bad employee?? sorry but bad or good economy if you're a crappy worker then so be it, taco bell i'm sure is hiring.. whatever your job may be, do it and do it well  (Aug 10, 2011 | post #63)

the businesses own brattleboro?? which ones?? the home grown mom and pop stores are the ones that provide hardly any jobs mike, the transplants and hippies own vermont.. i live in a town now that is 1000 people smaller yet has every kind of business you could imagine within a 10 mile radius and guess what, the cost of living is 1/4 of vermont, there's plenty of jobs to go around even in a bad economy and people like to stay in the area and live here after they're grown because there's opportunity  (Aug 10, 2011 | post #62)

maybe brattleboro should become more business friendly so that there's actually jobs for people and also the big companies could soak up some of the taxes and cost of living.. it is a tragedy, but you cannot blame guns, the nra, or anyone else besides himself, if he didn't use a gun he would've used some other tool. he just deemed a firearm to be an easier means to complete his goal which was to kill his boss..  (Aug 10, 2011 | post #56)

Vermonters mistakenly thought they were “going green.”
