Dog Eat Dog

Wittmann is too small to have every neighbor knowing everyones business. That would be Wickenburg.... big enough but still amall enough... Wittmann is a good medium.... like I've said before, when youre home, youre home. Can always work somewhere else (no real businesses in Wittmann) but it is home.... if you like a nice dark sky, no traffic and people who know you when you stop by the store or post office or school then yeah, its a great place to be and live.  (Sep 26, 2009 | post #9)

jw, you need to better place yourself in other topics that better suit you.... actually, anyone noting that their child is walking a mile home is just pulling at your pedifile strings. huh? It does suck for a child to walk home in 115 degree heat through washes with rattlesnakes etc... hopefully there is not a jw lurking in the bushes masterbating and just waiting to lunge at a young boy walking home in the heat.... love the country and ruralness of wittmann, just some of the bus stops are a bit far for a young kid to have to walk home.. jw, kiss my grits. You are just such an asshole sometimes.  (Sep 8, 2009 | post #7)

Is Sun City the best place to retire in AZ?

you will never hear me not appreciating our vets...my son is a marine.... yes he is paid for his time and will be educated... what the heck does this have to do with volunteerism in the sun cities.... i believe that it is only a coincidence of some of the fellows in sun city who volunteer used to be service men,,,, maybe being a serviceman, military, etc you have ingrained into oneself the importance of 'community' and giving.... but really what are you trying to communicate with your note.... are you saying that military service, volunteerism is unappreciated.... it is greatly appreciated... who does not appreciate it? i am so freaking proud of my son and of all the men and women who have dedicated their young lives to this country.... i am happy to say that i am deeply grateful of the seniors that volunteer in this country.... for a man of 71 years who served his country and volunteers and plays bingo well, shit, what the hell else is he supposed to do.... maybe travel? ok, so let him travel... everyone has to get old.... from what i hear the alternative damn well sucks!.... if it were not for volunteerism, maybe the meals on wheels would not arrive if not for the young and old people who volunteer their time to get the meals out....not every act is dependent on payout by government or other people,,, sometimes only our souls are rewarded.. humility and humbleness to serve should be the only factor that makes a true 'volunteer', 'giver', 'servant'.... maybe you are not only a grouch and complainer but maybe you also do not believe that we are all servants ..,. and that's in a good way.  (Aug 26, 2009 | post #29)

well, since the laughing republican thinks that people are only takers when there are volunteers around, take this... Del Webb has a junior volunteer program every summer.. My oldest son did it one summer and it was awesome... the folks volunteering in the sun cities do more than just give for others to take....they do set an awesome example. with other employers or businesses that offer volunteer oportunities for the 'junior' crowd, then even better. the folks in the sun cities are actually, mentors to some. yes, mentors.. what a wonderful example they set for 'community involvement'... So, 'laughing republican' from Snottsdale, dont be such a pessimist...  (Aug 18, 2009 | post #19)

wow, what a shame to say such negative, nasty things. I live in a neighboring town of sun city west and sun city grand... the volunteerism is fantastic... the folks there do not just care about themselves... there are numerous volunteers from those areas that volunteer at my kids school... the kids love them... the kids appreciate them... the volunteers are not jaded by a slim paycheck and stress that maybe some of the teachers have... very well appreciated by surrounding communities...  (Aug 17, 2009 | post #16)

big brother looking for more action...

number one, i am not illiterate. definately not an illiterate mess. i did not know i was consistantly making grammar and spelling mistakes.... grammar, if you mean not a whole lot of punctuation, etc.. then fine... did not know i was being graded. How was i to phrase the 'im ok your ok'? i am truely warm and fuzzy on the inside that you like to take it easy on me. i feel so special at how kind you have been to me. Even though only a few weeks you were calling me sugar tits and now you think i am only pretending to be illiterate... i work in automotive, so please let me know how that ranks with you... the grammar mistakes you relate to are simply, me just not proof reading what i am writing and sometimes the either the brain is faster than the fingers or the fingers faster than the brain... just continue to take it easy on me. I appreciate it. I am only on the site to check out some of the things that people are interested in. You know, Im just a poor ol' mamma, like I said before,, I really don't put forth alot of time into trying to figure out the in depth items on the news or talk radio etc... I will just follow items that are pertinent to the folks i live around and occasionally the news... too much garbage in and garbage out sometimes.. maybe this really bothers you.. maybe someday i will put forth the effort to be as well written and learned as you... You still make me want to spank your little butt though. take care.  (Aug 16, 2009 | post #26)
