Huh? It appears you can't even quote the comment correctly!  (Jan 3, 2013 | post #261)

Investigating the Ramsey Family Therapist

So much for keepin' the "truth" alive in the new year?!?! Steve Thomas is a reliable source? Might want to review Lin Wood's questioning of Thomas. JBR and Burke were in therapy? Really? And we have a source for that "therapy "? I think not. Fact is, by all accounts the Ramsey's were a healthy, normal, loving family....with great kids and parents who loved and adored them. We now enter our 17th year of this case, with all the same lies, gauzy platitudes, and self entitled whining sans any real truth or evidence. And so it goes....  (Jan 3, 2013 | post #255)

FOREIGN FACTION, byJames Kolar: Falsehoods, Fabrications...

Most of those reports are filtered, and written reports done by others like Schiller, and Thomas....and other news reports... But none are full detailed reports on what ACTUALLY happened, step by painful step that day... or what was seen IN FULL DETAIL and documented by law enforcement in a timeline for that day. Certainly we have the Ramsey interviews, but do you have on the record details directly from White, Hoverstock, the Fernies?  (Sep 3, 2012 | post #109)

Thank you Mama2JML.... I consider Whitson to be a viable source... He was a detective on the scene, he was at the house earlier, then left to meet with the FBI, he returned to the house to witness the scene he described. YES, there are varying descriptions of what happened and how it happened that morning, but the bottom line is Patsy was clearly in deep pain and stress. What's the point of attacking Whitson? This is what he remembers, he was ON THE SCENE and I'm sure there is a documented police report to support his claims. Thomas and Kolar, and many others were merely giving partial details and their interpretation of what happened that morning. NOT WHAT THEY WITNESSED..they weren't there. Everyone else reporting, save Arndt, were reporting this scene with second hand information. And since NONE of us have access to full police reports, we have NO idea what ALL the ON THE RECORD details are.  (Sep 3, 2012 | post #107)

How can we be so sure? Whitson was a detective ON THE SCENE that day, seems like a very pretty credible source to me. How do we know? We weren't there, we just read and discuss the case on the Internet.  (Sep 2, 2012 | post #86)

Wait….let me get this straight? First you blather on about my bad CRED as a reporter for a few paragraphs….THEN the very example you spit out is one where you use me as a credible source? Speaking of spitting out… OMG I almost spit out my Blueberry/Banana/A lmond Milk/Oatmeal Smoothie over when I read that statement…I’m dying here…comic relief. Let's recap...if only for a few more laughs... Someone did tell me of a post here at Topix, made by someone with a new hat, who used to (back in the day circa 1999?) have an old hat, and another old hat, who used to post at Justice Watch, who then posted at a new little forum, run by an old poster “Holly” at Justice Watch, who then became “Hissy”, who had a sister named “Morgan, who started a small forum….and this unknown poster from Topix was a member of Justice Watch, and this little forum…who said recently with her new Topix hat, that Holly, then Hissy, with a sister named Morgan, called her way back in the day to report, THAT I SAID THERE WAS A CANDY BOX!?!?! What the hell? Someone dial this picture in for me??? All I can say is this takes FFJ-SPEAK to a whole new level!!!  (Sep 2, 2012 | post #81)

TRUTH: Kolar’s book is bombing big time. According to sales rank with Amazon and B&N, his book continues to drop, doubling and dropping into the tens of thousands in the last few weeks. TRUTH: The book has not “blown the lid off the case” as Tricia promised for weeks on end in her over-hyped, desperate wishful thinking FFJ style marketing. From what I hear it’s” blown some lids” with law enforcement who think this guy is a whack job…but beyond that, no one is paying attention save for a handful of people back-slappin’ posters here and at FFJ -- whose mere existence is dependent upon gross fabrications, fantasies, and above all changing the evidence to meet their needs. Just another half-baked effort from the infamous F(antisized) F(abricated J(ustice) Productions. The BPD isn’t paying attention, the FBI isn’t paying attention, the CBI isn’t paying attention, and the media isn’t paying attention, even the TABLOIDS took a pass. TRUTH: Recently the National Enquirer passed right on by Kolar’s book; in their CASES THAT SHOCKED AMERICA feature story…instead they chose a sympathetic section from John Ramsey’s recent book for their story. http://www.nationa lenquirer.com/true -crime/crimes-shoc ked-america-revisi ted  (Sep 2, 2012 | post #79)

TRUTH: Horita is not a detective, never has been, he's not even a cop. Today, he is a CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner) for the city of San Diego. He was a well-liked kid in Boulder, the kind you take under your wing, but he was never a lead investigator on this case. He was an investigator in the DA’s office handling white collar crime, where his accounting skills came in very handy for a growing number of fraud, embezzlement, and forgery cases. He’s a bean counter. He’s probably a damn good bean counter, a nice kid, but he’s never been a criminal forensic specialist, much less a DNA specialist. Except for tagging along on a field trip to Bode with his boss, and “playing” a DNA expert in a book for a desperate author, he has NO experience in investigating murder cases, criminal forensics…much less the ability to interpret sophisticated DNA tests… His only skills involve forensic accounting.  (Sep 2, 2012 | post #78)

Interesting thread. Kudos to Mama2jml for believing an intelligent discussion is still possible here at Topix…and for her first rate fact checking skills… TRUTH: Kolar is not, and never has been a homicide detective. He has NO experience, NO “clear rate”, and no direct experience in solving murder cases. Zero, Zip, Nada...NONE. He now works in little Telluride, where there hasn’t been a murder in 10 years…he’s merely a wanna-be homicide detective, with only a few months as sorta kinda maybe, lead detective on this case. http://www.city-da ta.com/crime/crime -Telluride-Colorad o.html  (Sep 2, 2012 | post #77)

Off base? According to who? FFJ? The OFFICIAL stance of the case from law enforcement fully supports their theories. I'd say the investigative skills of Smit and Ainsworth, got them pretty far...  (Aug 19, 2012 | post #542)

The fingernail DNA alone is nothing, well an investigative tool, but nothing more. However, when compared to the significant matching DNA on two separate items of clothing, the markers are consistent. Which makes the fingernail DNA an important, but small part the DNA samples in this case. It tells any GOOD HOMICIDE detective JonBenet fought her killer, while being tortured.  (Aug 18, 2012 | post #506)

It doesn't, but that also applies to any other possible suspect. I've looked for years for any evidence the Ramsey's were involved, or had knowledge of what happened that night. Can't find it. The DNA in this case is powerful, it's the elephant in the room.  (Aug 18, 2012 | post #494)

In forensic science they are considered a MATCH...along with the fingernail DNA.  (Aug 18, 2012 | post #493)
