New Home, No Sewer System-Basement Full of Waste

A quote from the article:
They called the agent that sold them the house, the former owner, and the house inspector, but got nowhere.
They DID have it inspected. The home inspector is one of the ones they're suing.  (May 14, 2008 | post #22)

Police: Mom Helps Daughter in Bus Stop Beating

kiki...focus here. The point being made is that "noone" is not a word. It should have been "no one". And just so you know, spelling can be very important when you're trying to get a point across. Not to mention, if one doesn't use proper spelling and punctuation, the posts just sound ignorant and are either ignored or ridiculed.  (May 13, 2008 | post #102)

UF Student Hit & Killed by Car on Bike Trail

Duval Schools Face $86 million Hole

Care to tell me how you think you know which way I voted? Just because I'm a Republican, doesn't mean I always vote that way, or that I even voted at all (I do though). It's really none of your business whether or how I vote. All I did was ask you NOT to lump all of us together and assume we all voted for Amendment 1. THAT is why you're narrow minded. You can't seem to understand that we are all individuals. Just because you don't agree with my viewpoint...that doesn't make it trash. What was this so-called sentence supposed to mean? "You CALLING ME NARROW minded of JEZZZZZ a parent who complains" Sounds to me like perhaps you could benefit from some further education.  (Mar 25, 2008 | post #77)

Teen Dies During Breast Augmentation Surgery

If only that were the case. Unfortunately, "augmentation " means enlargement. If she were going smaller, the correct term would have been "breast reduction". Either way, the problem was with the anesthesia, which she would have had regardless of the type of surgery. I assume it was an elective procedure...she was taking unnecessary risks...and the outcome was bad. My prayers are with her family during this awful time. If they did finance this, they will have to live with that for the rest of their lives.  (Mar 25, 2008 | post #29)

Duval Schools Face $86 million Hole

Anya...please do NOT lump all Republicans into your call for blame! I'm a Republican and I voted against Amendment 1 and I know many other Republicans who did the same! Honestly...you have such narrow-minded thinking, I too am happy you switched parties!  (Mar 25, 2008 | post #32)

Baby Death Blamed On Methadone

I remember from the original story that she was nursing the child. I don't recall if the clinic personnel had told her of the dangers or not. This is a tragedy. I will keep her and her family in my prayers. The family for the loss of this precious child...and her that she sees the error of her ways and gets the help and punishment she needs.  (Feb 27, 2008 | post #8)

Thank you! I usually email them directly when I find stupid stuff like that. It gets them to correct it...and maybe they'll proof read in the future!  (Feb 6, 2008 | post #2)

Jacksonville Councilman Accused of Punching Dog Walker

He stated he knew about the leash laws and he was trying to catch the dog. I got the impression that the dog had been on a leash and got away, either by tugging or by the leash/collar breaking. It wasn't stated though, so no way to know for sure. This isn't the issue. The issue is that Shad's story doesn't jive with what Kelly and an eyewitness stated. His story was vague, "...punches may have been exchanged..." and not very believable. Sounds to me like he over-reacted, took it out on the dog's owner, and is trying to do damage control.  (Jan 29, 2008 | post #10)

Decision Day for Republicans in Florida

In this particular Primary Election...the Democratic party has punished the Democratic voters in the State of Florida by decreeing that NONE of the DEMOCRATIC DELEGATES will count. The Democratic Primary in Florida is basically "a beauty contest" and will not help any Democrat on their trek for the White House. The Republican Party has only eliminated HALF of our 114 delegates, therefore Republican votes DO COUNT toward the race for the White House. Hope that helped clear things up. To me...it shows just how much the Democratic Party cares about their constituents...Not at all. Proud to be a Republican!  (Jan 29, 2008 | post #8)
