Walmart Eliminates 50 Jobs at Bentonville Home Office

When will it eliminate 50-100-250 jobs at its Global Procurement Office in China... better yet....close it all together and bring the office back to America....it ain't like American consumers are jumping for joy to buy Made in China knowing that those five super cargo ships Walmart commissioned years ago to being all that made in China to America pollutes to high heaven......yeap!! ! one super cargo ship pollutes as much as 50 million cars each year... think about that when you pull that George Washington out of your pocket book and purse...and think about the fact 1975 was the last year America had a trade surplus....oh! and the total US debt that year was a mere $533 billion dollars and as of the 3rd of this month it stood at $18,098,502,229,89 9.76... yeap! over $17.5 trillion of debt on the shoulders of We the People just in the past thirty-nine years and not one turnip on Jenkins Hill in the District of Columbia nor that one living rent free inside the People's House as had the ba!!s to say one word.....  (Feb 4, 2015 | post #1)

Who wants a Costco in Northwest Arkansas?

Wal*Mart's Global Procurement Office is in China. Wal*Mart commissioned five super cargo ships years ago to bring Made In China to America. 1975 was the last year America had a trade surplus. Total US Debt in 1975 was a mere $533 billion dollars. As of the 2nd of this month the total US debt stood at $18,099,042,237,25 3.89. January 20th of 2009 it stood at $10,626,877,048,91 3.08. America needs to get back to supporting what made the American dream possible in the first place. The Made In America label and no so-call American Corporation is going to find that label in China. Over $17.5 trillion of debt just in the past 39 years.......more and more US dollars flowing to China and less and less returning into the hands of Americans. Trade with the world needs to be free but it has to be FAIR too.... If one super cargo ship pollutes as much as 50 million cars each year and Wal*Mart commissioned five (5) of those ships years ago to bring Made In China to America.....WHAT ARE YOU SAVING AS AN AMERICAN......it surely ain't the US dollar nor is it the American dream.  (Feb 4, 2015 | post #26)

If fifteen cargo ships pollute as much as 760 million automobiles....how can foreign made be better than Made In America.....cause it takes over $9 billion a year in taxes on all Americans to clean fish from the ballast tanks of ships that deliver all that so-call cheap crap. If you want jobs back in America... STOP BUYING FOREIGN. You get so tight with a George Washington(dollar) that your breath smells like sh!! and you squeak when you walk...those asinine self-centered nincompoops in corporate America will bring jobs back to the United States of America...cause if they don't...they have no George Washington's in their bank account to squeeze so tight that their breath smells like sh!! too..... Made in America is the only way to get out of this mess cause foreign made put US here.  (Aug 24, 2011 | post #13)

duh! http://findarticle s.com/p/articles/m i_m0JZS/is_6_22/ai _n24984155/ http://www.wri.org /about/board/lesli e-dach oh! let's not forget that Wal*Mart puts less than 5% foreign in all their stores in China.... http://www.wal-mar tchina.com/english /walmart/index.htm and remember...it was 1975 when America had its last trade surplus....that was also the year Sam Walton was east of Seoul inside a factory listening to a "whistle while you work" song.... but what you may not remember.... it was the year Jimmy Hoffa disappeared. Retail makes NOTHING... Government only makes MORE DEBT.... Now, for the past 100 years in America the Government in Washington D. C. has put we the people from a $2.6 billion debt load in 1910 to over $14 trillion today. And with 1975 being the last year America had a trade surplus more Retail has been born and more and more NOTHING is being made. See, it’s all about the American currency(George Washington)and just how those dollars float around. Years ago when they floated around this great union helping each hand George was touching foreigners would had given their left nut just to touch one of them. But today it be a different story because for the past thirty-six years more and more of those George Washington’s have been sent to foreign lands and now all those foreigners have we the people and Uncle Sam by both nuts squeezing the life out of them. The dollar is the key in America just like the Mao(yuan) is the key in China. “It is the aim of good government to stimulate production, of bad government to encourage consumption.” – Jean Baptiste Say That quote is like 230 years ago and it makes more “cents” today than ever before…..remember, the Constitution wasn’t written for a corporation, church nor government. It was written for We the People and the founding fathers with goose quill feather pens in hand and the penmanship of poets call it the American Dream. Now, ask yourself what was Sam Walton doing back in 1975 east of Seoul…did it have anything to do with making more products in America. read what Lance Winslow wrote in that article “The Flow of Trade in a Global Economy”…. “Now let us look at Wal-Mart again; you buy a product there, 6% goes to the employees, 10-18% is profit to the company, 25% goes to other costs and 50% goes to re-stock or the cost of goods sold. Of the 50% about 20-25% goes to China, a guess, but you get the point. Now then, how long will it take at 433 Billion dollars at year for China to have all of our money, leaving no money flow for us to circulate? At a 17 Trillion dollar economy less than 40-years minus the 1/6 they buy from us. Some say that if we keep putting money into our economy, it would take forever, but if we do not then eventually all the money flow will go. If China buys our debt then eventually they own us, no need to worry about a war, they are buying America, due in part to our own mismanaged trade, so whose fault is that?” As an American you have the power. If you hold onto George Washington(dollar) he will not let you down but did you let him down...."Tis our true policy to steer clear of permanent alliances, with any portion of the foreign world." - George Washington, Farewell Address, 17 Sept. 1796.  (Aug 24, 2011 | post #11)

Observe good faith and justice toward all nations. Cultivate peace and harmony with all... The Nation which indulges toward another an habitual hatred or an habitual fondness is in some degree a slave. And if the American people want their country back ...they would get off their lazy @ss and read "The Flow of Trade in a Global Economy" by Lance Winslow. There is one quote from his article tat comes in mind. "Now let us look at Wal-Mart again; you buy a product there, 6% goes to the employees, 10-18% is profit to the company, 25% goes to other costs and 50% goes to re-stock or the cost of goods sold. If China buys our debt then eventually they own us, no need to worry about a war, they are buying America, due in part to our own mismanaged trade, so whose fault is that? Not necessarily China, as they are doing what's in the best interests, and we should make sure that trade is not only free, but fair too." Also, think for a moment about George Washington....yes the man tat is on the US dollar bill.... "Washington had been reelected unanimously in 1792. His decision not to seek a third term established a tradition that is now embedded in the 22d Amendment of the Constitution. In his Farewell Address of Sept. 17, 1796, he drew on the results of his varied experience, offering a guide for both present and future. He urged his compatriots to cherish the Union, support the public credit, be alert to the “insidious wiles of foreign influence,” respect the Constitution and the nation’s laws, abide by the results of elections, and eschew political parties of a sectional cast. Asserting that the United States and Europe had different interests, he declared that it “is our true policy to steer clear of permanent alliances with any portion of the foreign world,” trusting to temporary alliances for emergencies. He also warned against indulging in either habitual favoritism or habitual hostility toward particular nations, lest such attitudes should provoke or involve the country in needless wars." Take the time to read his farewell address after only eight years of serving his country and than ask yourself tis....How do you think George feels being sent overseas in return for all tat foreign so-call cheap items and being left in a foreign bank because the American worker doesn't make anythig for the foreigners to buy. Cheap items didn't make tis great union of 57...oops! 50 states the greatest place on the face of tis Earth.....the American worker (union and non-union) did. You can't have a strong country without having a strong currency and you can't have a strong currency unless you keep it floating around within your 50 states. Tis is why the store with the star in the name puts 95% China made items in their stores in China....to keep their "yuan" in their country helping the nice people there. And with only 5% left for all the other 182 country's tat make stuff including the United States of America....tat doesn't produce very many jobs outside of China. Being an old person myself and knowing how it wus back in the 40's, 50's and 60's in tis union of 50 states....I look at George each time I pull him out of my billfold and make a promise to send him out for items made in America so after floating around helping each hand he touches jus maybe one day he will shake mine again.  (Dec 7, 2009 | post #74)

well....lets see....America is $57 trillion in debt....the dang government is over $13 trillion in debt...there is a $100 trillion shortfall in the Social Security and Medicare Thrust Funds....there has been a 62% drop in the manufacturing ratio since 1960 and for the past 99 years there has been only one 10 year period tat the National Debt has gone down....now the turnips are talking about a health care bill and also a carbon tax bill...so! my thinking is jus bout the time those turnips in D. C. try to cram tat health bill down the throats of the American taxpayers..we the people shove those 15 cargo ships tat emit as much pollution as 760 MILLION AUTOMOBILES up the @ss of each and every one of those turnips and parallel park'em. Also...tat $9 billion in hidden tax Bill tat the all American have to pay each year for cleaning the fish from the ballast tanks of ships needs to be sent to companies like Wal*Mart and Target cause 95% of those 15,000 containers on each on of those 15 ships is nothing but cheap foreign crap.  (Dec 7, 2009 | post #73)

A public forum in a religious context has no place in pol...

you left out this one from Thomas Jefferson.... "Say nothing of my religion. It is known to God and myself alone. Its evidence before the world is to be sought in my life: if it has been honest and dutiful to society the religion which has regulated it cannot be a bad one." And to the nonbelievers all 50 State Constitutions have.... Almighty God, Supreme Ruler of the Universe, God, Lord, Creator, Him, He, Divine Being, Legislator of the universe, Creator and Preserver of the universe, Supreme Being, Divine Guidance.... even American Samoa, Guam and Puerto Rico. There is only "ONE" tat makes no mention of the word and tat is U.S. Virgin Islands. This great union is made up of States and those States send people to D. C. to speak in their behalf....so! Wake up! America.  (Aug 25, 2008 | post #19)

Letter: Second Wal-Mart unneeded

well..."dbski 4it" with the rulings from the courts last year that so-call property rights went out the window. But your right about stopping that store with the star above the door. People need only stop shopping there and they will go away just like Gibson's and Howard's years ago. Maybe why that company is putting a store on every corner in America they need more traffic but with people in America getting fed up with the lost of jobs and all the dang import crap things are changing. China, this past month, had a 63% drop in exports and a 33% increase in imports which means the company with the star above the door lost out cause they have 95% China items in their China stores and if there wus a 63% drop in China exports means their American stores didn't sell more but only increase the pricing on the items. The US dollar is tanking and until the people demand more made in America items to buy in order to keep the US dollar at home this great union will not have a leg to stand on. Soviet Leader Khrushchev, put it this way quote** "You Americans are so gullible. No, you won't accept communism out right, but we'll keep feeding you small doses of socialism until you'll finally wake up and find you already have communism. We won't have to fight you. We'll so weaken your economy until you fall like over-ripe fruit into our hands."***end of quote maybe that's is why you don't see a Wal*Mart in South Korea and Germany!  (Mar 10, 2008 | post #2)

Chavez Seeks End To Term Limits

Dang! it's funny how you draw that line and for some unknown reason it's always a Republican on the other side. Lets only go back 40 years are so after Kennedy was shot. Ladybird just had to have her Great Society but the US was broke from all the money that had been poured into the Viet Nam War. But with all the years up on the Hill...LBJ knew how to pull the right strings. That Social Security Chest had been locked from day one but he was the "first" to unlock the Pandora's Box and took out $30 billion dollars....and dang!....he was a Democrat. You people miss the boat when your always blaming a Republican or Democrat...the truth lies in the fact that the American voter is not giving all in this great land the opportunity to serve this Country......go back to the Federalist party.... George Washington...our first President never joined the party, he supported most of its programs and became its hero and symbol. His decision not to seek a third term established a tradition that is now embedded in the 22d Amendment of the Constitution. In his Farewell Address of Sept. 17, 1796, he drew on the results of his varied experience, offering a guide for both present and future. He urged his compatriots to cherish the Union, support the public credit, be alert to the "insidious wiles of foreign influence," respect the Constitution and the nation's laws, abide by the results of elections, and eschew political parties of a sectional cast. Asserting that the United States and Europe had different interests, he declared that it "is our true policy to steer clear of permanent alliances with any portion of the foreign world," trusting to temporary alliances for emergencies. He also warned against indulging in either habitual favoritism or habitual hostility toward particular nations, lest such attitudes should provoke or involve the country in needless wars. Now ....fast forward 200 plus years and your nincompoops in D. C. think once they get there...they should die there.....which doesn't give a snowball chance in He!! for all Americans to serve their Country. ------- Your so right when it comes to the media.... "If I allowed my honest opinions to appear in one issue of my paper, before twenty-four hours my occupation would be gone. The business of the journalist is to destroy the truth; to lie outright; to pervert; to vilify; to fawn at the feet of Mammon, and to sell the country for his daily bread. You know it and I know it and what folly is this toasting an independent press. We are the tools and vassals of the rich men behind the scenes. We are the jumping jacks, they pull the strings and we dance. Our talents, our possibilities and our lives are all the property of other men. We are intellectual prostitutes. " - John Swinton, the former Chief of Staff at the New York Times, called "The Dean of His Profession" by other newsmen, when asked to give a toast before the prestigious New York Press Club. ------ "News is what someone wants to suppress. Everything else is advertising". - Former NBC news President Rubin Frank ------- and thing they like to suppress...... "If this were a dictatorship, it'd be a heck of a lot easier, just so long as I'm the dictator." - George W. Bush, during a photo-op with Congressional leaders on 12/18/2000. As broadcast on CNN and available in transcript on their web site. ------------------ ----------------- "I hope history will record that the Gulf Crisis was the crucible of the New World Order." - President George Bush ------------------ ------------------ ---- "One in 7 Americans are governed by a Bush, that should scare people." - Barbara Bush ------------------ ------ So! as you can see.....it's the "people" not any one party that is the demise of our great Country! the pen in your hand marking a voting ballot is worth more in freedom than all the money that your ever park in a bank!  (Aug 18, 2007 | post #114)
