us light skinned redbones look way better than them dark ...

Haha! If you knew me, you would not be asking me this. I'm totally different from this stereotype that you've made from the dark-skinned women that you've talked to. Not all black women are the same. I don't wear weave, I'm natural. I don't have attitudes against men. I just hate when people discriminate against others based on skin color whether they be black, white, Hispanic, Asian, Middle Eastern, etc. I think it's completely ignorant. Dark skinned women, well people, tend to hate themselves because of the European standards of beauty. That lighter is better and straight hair is better. White is portrayed as beautiful as well as light skinned black women. So black people are too busy trying to look this way rather than realizing their own beauty. That is all. It is just recently that I notice more natural hair in the media but I must admit the skin color of the models has not changed much. As far as attitudes go, I'm not sture but I believe that you are grouping black women together and believing stereotypes. Get out there, meet more people before you start making assumptions. I assure that there is no straight description of the people of certain ethnicity. We're all different with different personalities and lifestyle.  (Apr 29, 2013 | post #147)

You're completely right! That last sentence is exactly what I mean. We're all black, let's stop discriminating. Beauty comes in all colors, shapes, and sizes.  (Apr 14, 2013 | post #100)

If you call yourself liking black women, you shouldn't be as discriminatory. That is all! Some of your ancestors were probably what you call "crispy" if you are black. If you are black you need to learn how to love yourself and your people. Not just the ones that are closest to another ethnicity. Honestly, you can do what you want haha but I'm just saying you probably are missing out on a lot by being what I call colorist. And DUH they're still black but they're super light so you might as well go for white women is what I was saying. Hopefully, you'll meet someone one day to make you change your harsh perspective.  (Apr 14, 2013 | post #98)

I'm not offended that someone of your intelligence doesn't pick me lol! I was trying to open racist and self hating people's mind and give them some knowledge. If they don't want it, it's on them. That's their problem. They're the dumb ones, not me. I LOVE to teach but I'm not gonna waste my time online. One day you'll learn and become wiser, if not, I feel sorry for you.  (Apr 14, 2013 | post #96)

Haha, you're hilarious! The skin color does not even make the "punani" ! How is that relevant? It's just genetics and how often you pass it around that makes it amazing! How tight you keep it. I know there are sloppy LIGHT SKINNED bi***es that pass it around as if they were giving donations. Sounds amazing right? If you're racist against blacks, go f**k a white woman Jake but at least be smart about it. If you only like light skin, you don't like black women! DUH! And I'm not even crispy dumb a**, use your eyes!  (Apr 14, 2013 | post #90)

Technically you're yellow bone...not red bone! And it's just a skin tone, I feel sorry for those who think being lighter means they're set in life and that they're better. Talk about ignoring intelligence, experience, wisdom, and accomplishments lol! I'm sorry you're tricked by the EUROPEAN standards of beauty but us of African descent need to learn to love our features and not try to be something we're not. As for those who claim black and are a mixture of races, you should embrace both sides and know that both are beautiful. Thinking that lighter is better is totally ignorant and close minded! And YOU are beautiful on the outside but you need to work on yourself on the inside. Open your mind and stop letting white folks tell you what is beautiful. And how is it that you think dark skinned males are attractive but not dark skinned women? That's hypocritical! Beauty comes in all shades but it also radiates from within, make sure yours is radiating from within and is not just all physical.  (Apr 14, 2013 | post #87)
