Peter Boyles and the JonBenet Ramsey case

Thanks for your excellent and informative posts about Boyles' coverage of the Ramsey case. That beautiful little girl suffered more at the hands of her parents than some are willing to consider. They abused her, brought humiliation to her memory by parading her in the pageant limelight in a sexualized manner, and finally, ended her life through a process so heinous I wouldn't consider it as a means of euthanasia for my pet. Thanks to you and Peter Boyles for trying to see some justice for JB at least through keeping information about her unjust and horrible death alive and in the public awareness.  (Jun 6, 2013 | post #6)

You're welcome.:) It's a joy to share where I stand with others, even if they sometimes choose to ignore obvious intent. And there are those who sometimes just need more clarification. I guarantee, if I had typed "zero", I would have had to add: "that you would be willing to discern as supportive evidence, in my opinion. Yep, RDI with good old JR as prime suspect, IMHumbleO!  (May 16, 2013 | post #355)

If I had "other" viable evidence that has already not been made public, I would share it with BPD and Garnett. I do not feel it necessary to do your homework to find the evidence that is out there which supports my opinion. I found it all myself in the public domain, just as I'm sure you can, but may not, since you do not "see" things the way I do. I doubt very little I say about things I believe support a JDI theory could convince you, since you are not willing to believe 12 other people who simply saw evidence that gave them "probable cause" to suspect there was a reason to indict the Ramseys. The GJ did not have to lay out "why" they decided there was probable cause - it is enough that in this country for justice to be served we must rely first on their judgement to believe whether or not a case can be pursued. They felt it could, if a prosecutor would have decided to continue to do his job and gather the remaining evidence necessary to file charges. No one could have guaranteed a conviction in that case, and there were some in the prosecutor's office that felt they should at least go forward with charges, in spite of Hunter's dismal lack of fortitude in accepting that his DUTY would have been to further the case, not shelve it based upon his own feelings there was not, at that time, sufficient evidence to file charges. One man against what 12 others thought? The 12 said - Probable Cause - Hunter said, I don't think so, without ever even TRYING to put together a case. He slapped 12 people right in the face, discounted the work done by witnesses UNDER OATH, and without any further ado, let the people of Colorado pick up the tab on a long and costly process, just to allay his own fears. One man - against how many others at the time who saw enough evidence to believe JB died at the hands of her family. And they hadn't seen all the evidence either - only the pieces that Hunter felt he had to turn over. Funny, even the Ramsey's though there would be an indictment and an arrest - to the point of making legal arrangements for the care of Burke. You can heckle me till you're blue in the face and it won't change my belief that John Ramsey had sexually molested his daughter, and was the one who ultimately pulled that ligature tight around her neck. If you REALLY want to know what evidence makes me believe that, I recommend you start over again reading through as much as you can that has been publicly published about the case, only this time, get some glasses that weren't manufactured under the IDI Company Logo.  (May 15, 2013 | post #325)

Yes, Doc S, Douglas was perhaps the biggest gun the Firm could look to immediately to help them sort through their suspicions. He also would have been able to help them consider a variety of other avenues of perpetration, yes? LE in Boulder was looking squarely at JR immediately. The FBI suggested they look at the parents. I would go along with John Ramsey's own assessment that that everyone brought in to the case was in an attempt to build a defense for keeping him out of jail.  (May 13, 2013 | post #311)

There were other Ramseys investigated by LE who were also removed from suspicion of JB's murder. There were hundreds of non-Ramseys investigated by LE who were not considered as perpetrators of the crime. Someone killed JB. My OPINION is based, strictly as an amateur, on what I have learned about the case that has been put into the public domain, including most of the books written by others and those written by the Ramseys. I had my OPINION of JR before I learned the GJ did vote to indict, and I now consider my opinion has validation by several who have seen a good deal of case facts. Yes, Patsy was named in the indictment. She was, in my OPINION complicit in the abuse against JB which resulted in her death. I have not formed a firm OPINION of the degree to which she was involved, or if she was involved in any abuse of JB at the time the ligature strangulation combined with the head injury caused her death. In my OPINION, the person who tightened that ligature, which caused her death, according to the coroner, was John Ramsey. He was the most likely of the 3 Ramsey suspects in the home that night to create a "garrote " scenario, in my OPINION, because of his former military training in conjunction with his tie to the Phillipines at the time, where garroting was considered to be a death penalty method, and has been known to be used widely in the commission of crimes. Let's add while we're on the subject that the Phillipines is one of the leading child sexual crime capitals of the world, and that Access Graphics also had an office there. Just a couple of extra 'facts' that point me toward John Ramsey.  (May 13, 2013 | post #310)

John Ramsey was told very early on that BPD suspected he wrote the note and killed JB. There are some of us, (not BPD) who have studied this case and followed it from day one, who agree and would like to see JR brought in on charges of Felony Murder. Patsy was a patsy, and possibly led, by John, to believe that Burke had killed JB in order to gain her assistance with the staging. The only exception I see to this scenario is John killing JonBenet intentionally because of an incest dynamic that was escalating beyond his ability to keep JonBenet quiet about it. He couldn't risk the final exposure that was becoming evident through JB's physical problems and behavioral issues. MHO, only.  (May 11, 2013 | post #290)

Though there was some information released, some information leaked, and information said to be withheld on purpose, what about the files that went missing and the computers that were hacked? I find it hard to believe that an 'intruder' who might have been afraid of being identified would have had the clout necessary to infiltrate the BPD to get rid of that information, unless he was someone pretty important or kind of wealthy. Sounds more like a Ramsey thing to me. And lets not forget who refused to grant warrants when BPD asked for them. DA's.  (May 2, 2013 | post #180)

her parents killed her

And the Judge who had the ethics needed to override a couple of attorneys and pronounce a sentence that reflected some justice also deserves kudos. If JB's case ever goes before a jury or judge, we can only pray that there will be someone in Boulder with the same sense of integrity that was on display in this Wisconsin case!  (May 2, 2013 | post #174)

ITA, Capricorn. Another thing we should remember is that Hunter probably called in a GJ due to pressure from some who had seen plenty of incriminating evidence against the Ramseys. In that case, Hunter would have only released a minimal amount of evidence to the GJ, probably hoping they couldn't vote to indict due to insufficient information, while convincing his peers that he had to hold back some information in order to have a more effective prosecution if they did have to go to trial. Even from the evidence the GJ did see, they saw the Ramsey's hands of involvement. All they needed to have was "probable cause". It was there. If Hunter needed more information or investigation to gather evidence, a signed true bill would have given him the green light to pull out all the stops. He purposely defied the system instead of stepping up, proceeding with an arrest, and beginning whatever further investigation tactics would have been necessary to get any evidence they could to lay before a jury. IIRC from reading, at that time, and even today, there are items that were taken into evidence that have not been subjected to special forensic testing. That alone proves that there is still the possibility of new evidence surfacing. Hunter had avenues to go down - he just chose to put up road blocks.  (Apr 30, 2013 | post #168)

Right - no one could have been inside Hunter's head - wouldn't have wanted to have been. Doesn't change my OPINION of him! Sorry, you won't either.  (Apr 29, 2013 | post #142)

Colorado's Cold Case Task Force meets in Boulder

Your request granted - posted info to another board. Thanks for this and for not giving up on seeking justice for a beautiful child who suffered a heinous death. My email to Brackley went out a couple of minutes ago.  (Apr 29, 2013 | post #46)

Even if there was not enough evidence to file charges at the time the GJ voted to indict, there was enough evidence found to INDICT them -- at which time they could have gone forth and collected more evidence which could have led to filing specific charges. Not only was AH derelict in his duty at that time, he must have wanted to remain derelict to his duty by not wanting to press forward for a more intensive investigation which could have produced the evidence they needed to convict "beyond a reasonable doubt". That's of course what an aggressive DA might have done if he was too weak to take the chance to prosecute based on the desire to bring justice to a murdered child, regardless of the final verdict! AH was either bought off or had no guts. You pick.  (Apr 29, 2013 | post #140)

JonBenet Ramsey case videos on YouTube

When this crime happened, no one wanted to believe JB's parents would have killed her on Christmas night. When an intruder was suggested, it was a relief - until details forced us to accept that she most likely was a victim of someone within the family. Fiber evidence inside her underwear and within the knot of the ligature leads to the parents. The parents were tied in some way to every major player in Boulder LE, within CO government, and had legal assistance from the highest realm available within 48 hours. I doubt that it took very many phone calls from AH, even though he was on vacation in Hawaii at the time, to make everyone aware of what was coming down the pike the moment he was notified that Eller had a new case on his hands.  (Apr 22, 2013 | post #34)

Wendy Murphy on black fibers in JonBenet's panties

Apr 7 Tricia's Blog Radio - Wendy Murphy said a few words about the new info in her book providing more JBR info and truth that could lead the public to knowing what they need to know. Tricia replied that WS is in the process of going forth with something that will open up more public info about the case.  (Apr 10, 2013 | post #100)
