Really? When did God tell you that? He hasn't seemed to tell anyone else, hasn't even taken the time to make sure it's written.  (May 16, 2012 | post #8)

What's the difference between a civil union and a marraige? If you're going to allow a civil union, well, then just call it a marraige.  (May 15, 2012 | post #6)

It's about civil rights. It's about time he listened to the people on this issue.  (May 15, 2012 | post #4)

Death Penalty - Salt Lake City, UT

I simply don't agree with the death penalty because it doesn't work. It was supposed to be a method of preventing murder and other horrible crimes. The problem is that it's not working as a deterrent and the crime continues every day. I don't believe that people change. They may find a way to control their thoughts or actions, but it doesn't take much to push them over the edge again.  (Apr 16, 2012 | post #9)

Abortion Debate - Detroit, MI

I don't know... I guess if you can get the unborn baby to state it's case, then I think it would change the big picture, but untill that time, the unborn baby does not have a say. Alot of times, it's not just about cramping your style, there are several factors that play into the reason a woman would want an abortion, it could even be health related. The other thing to think about is there are several thousand miscarriages each day. These are unborn that died in the womb or died being born that had nothing to do with an abortion, yet, they didn't have a choice or a say then either, did they? It's like I said earlier. I don't believe in abortion for myself, but I believe that women need to make these decisions for themselves and live with the concequences of their decisions.  (Mar 1, 2012 | post #39)

I don't agree with abortion, but I believe in a woman's right to make that decision for herself.  (Feb 21, 2012 | post #25)

Obama Economy - Detroit, MI

I'm employed. Everybody I know is employed. Everyone I know that has been unemployed is now employed. "We the people" is not you. You are an exception and do not represent the majority fact. It's been my experience that the people that remain unemployed are mostly people that refuse to do anything about their situation and are content to blame the government and wait for handouts. People in real estate refuse to find work that isn't real estate related. The bubble burst and they continue to hope on holding onto something that is destroyed. If you've been out of work for all these 4 years that Obama has been in office, why haven't you gone back to school using the grants and scholarships you qualify for because us working people contribute to it. You would have a bachelors degree by now in another viable field. Stop complaining, get off your ass and do something about your situation instead of waiting for the government you loathe to do it for you. There is nothing wrong with the economy, it's continuing to grow and improve. The problem is with the industries that people refuse to migrate from.  (Feb 7, 2012 | post #11)

I never said I was bent out of shape? Not sure what gave you that impression? I'm perfectly fine with the verdict, like I said, she got a fair trial, evidence wasn't there, that's it.  (Jan 23, 2012 | post #35)
