Deadline set in mystery jackpot case

I agree the ticket has been presented and validated and there is video to confirm the legitimit/rightful winner. Being that this ticket was reported stolen 1/03/2011 but brought to their attantion on 12/30/2010 by me, although I had my time wrong but that's because I made atleast 8 other purchases for that specific draw. (12-25/2010) draw, that is only I forgot that I had made the multi draw purchase earlier in the day and that's why they won't show the video because they know that I will id the person on it. I am the reason for the extra scruitny on the shaw crew.  (Feb 28, 2012 | post #5)

Store Clerks Arrested for Stealing Winning Lottery Tickets

Well another one bites the dust. Mr crawford shaw withdrew his 16.5 million hot lotto prize because he could not produce the man on the tape. But that's not it, the ia lottery said even though the crook withdrew his claim they are keeping the cash the hell with the real legitimate winner even though they have video to find him. This ticket got reported to the ia lottery on 1/03/2011 but bgouht to their attention on 12/30/2010. Another willis willis case to the man and women paying up those last few bucks they had, just for the chance to have a life changing xperience. Looks the the odds just got stronomically out of reach....think of that the next time you go buy a lottery ticket. Boycot. Boycot. Boycot boycot boycot boycot boycot boycot boycot boycot boycot. The lotteris its time we fight back to these greedy. s.o.b's  (Jan 28, 2012 | post #55)

unclaimed 16.5 hot lotto

Should the ia lottery be forced to pay the winner so as long as they can proof its them and that the clerk took the ticket.  (Nov 20, 2011 | post #1)

Mystery Winner: The owner of a Hot Lotto ticket worth $16...

I purchased this ticket on 12/23/2010. Shortly After 6:07pm. I had been dealing with the ia lottery since 12/30/2010 the day after the draw. My concern was that a clerk had mishandled/kept my ticket but that the strange part was that I had bought and picked these numbers for the christmas drawing,12/25/2010 . I mention that I may have been wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and possibly had my hood on. They went public first said it was a multidraw, they had video of winner, the video did not get the winners face. When I first contacted them I had forgotten it was a multidraw for my intention was to buy the sizzler X5, but the clerk explained to me what it was and I went ahead with my purchase. And the fact that i said that I had purshased this numbers for the christmas drawing should have raised red flags and. The attornygeneral was involed and basically they determend I was not the purchcaser. There is just a lot to the fruastration I dealt with but what it comes down to is I'm fully aware of what I bought, but they said no ticket no payout. In my opinion they know my ticket no longer exsist so why aknowledge me/my claime for if I were able to prove it they would loose a huge retailer according to their rules for this is not the first situation I have had with them invalveing their agents clerks.  (Nov 14, 2011 | post #2)

16.5 unclaimed hot lotto prize in dsm ia 21/29/2010

I had been working with the ia lottery since back on dec 30th 2010, trying to convince them that I'm the rightful winner. On dec 30th I contacted their office with the concern of a clerk possibly mishandling/keeping my ticket I've told them I purchased this ticket on dec 23rd 2010 after work but because I made atleast 8 more purchases at that store which is way on the other side of town and that would be the only reason I went there I also told them that the strange thing was I had bought this ticket for the christmas drawing and being that this numbers won for the 29th should have raised red flags for I did not know that it was a multidraw ticket that had won I also told them that I could had posibly had my hood on and now they say that the video did not catch the winners face yeah I wonder why. I remember this ticket because my intentions where to get the sizzler x5 but the clerk explained to me that it was the multi option good for five draws so I went ahead with my transaction. When I first contacted the lottery I had forgotten that I bought such kind of ticket for that was an unusual purchase for me. Here I am back at step one with no progress.  (Nov 13, 2011 | post #1)
