I've known Mike for years, and he has always treated me with respect, and honored my requests. He is- The Man.  (Oct 30, 2010 | post #4)

Who do you support for Governor in Alabama in 2010?

Any man who will foil the liberal agenda. We have had a bellyful of "change" Keep the change, I'll stay with traditional values, like courage, duty, honor, and Country. I've had my fill of catering to the small minorities, and being "politically correct". The majority rules here, and has for over 235 years. I see no reason to change that. I retired a Master Chief in the Navy, and I'll be damned to see all I fought for over the years go to hell in a hand basket.  (Oct 30, 2010 | post #332)

A man that can say NO to the Feds, is what we need.  (Oct 30, 2010 | post #329)

How many times do you plan to vote? Apparently you brought your Yankee ways down with you? You may be able to negate ONE vote, but the rest of us Southern Conservatives plan to "throw you under the bus" with our votes. So far, the polls hold Shelby the favorite by a two to one margin, I suppose you will claim this is false? The whole world does not revolve about what YOU say. You are going to get a serious reality check Wednesday morning with a massive Republican landslide vote across the whole country. Democrats are running scared, paranoia floods their minds. No matter where Obama shows up, he is more of a burden to Democrat candidates, than a help. Why don't you find another hobby, as you are spending wayyyy too much time here. Maybe visit your analyst more often? Perhaps you might "give us a break" from the veritable fountain of illogic that spouts from your keyboard?  (Oct 30, 2010 | post #101)

As Shelby should. The "tax and spend" liberal, socialist/communis t idiots would have us all in the crapper. Redistribution of the wealth can only go so far - when the taxable money is gone, the jobs are gone too. How will you feed/clothe,/house /medicate your self when ALL the jobs are gone? Not out of my pocket, you won't. I haven't worked all these years just to have some yahoo try and take it all away from me. Sessions, Shelby, and Rodgers are doing exactly what I want them to do. Hopefully, Bentley will be doing the same thing in January. I'm voting straight Conservative Republican on November 2nd, and I hope that sticks in your craw.  (Oct 24, 2010 | post #65)

Gay Marriage - Tallassee, AL

Marriage is between man and women, mostly for procreation, or continuation of the human species. All other arrangements are extinction oriented behaviors.  (Aug 3, 2010 | post #1)

Nancy Pelosi rocks!!!!

Also, She is older than dirt. She convinced Cain to murder Able. She put the snake in the Tree of Knowledge. She originally came from Jupiter (like in MIB). AND when she farted, the BIG BANG occurred (beat that).  (Apr 10, 2010 | post #1082)

"Bullying" in grade schools

For "Really, in Spring Hill KS" Down here the majority of teachers are black (or "of color"), and the kids that form black gangs are not disciplined. The white teachers stay mute, afraid to lose their jobs. My son was bullied, and when he tried to fight back, was blamed for starting it. I am homeschooling my son now, and will never trust "Government Schools" ever again. And, yes, I was able to make that school pay for the hospital visits, and psychologists my son endured for the physical and emotional traumas. It took almost six months in court to win, but win we did. We kept a diary, and made videos of his emotions, bruises and lacerations (which the lawyer called "hard evidence", and is very admissible in Civil Court). After the school finally paid up, my son has about $125,000 in the bank. We did have to move to another area after that, but it was worth it because the sale of our old home bought us a farmhouse, and forty acres to boot. So, my son, after homeschooling, has a lot of room to be a boy, and has good friends to enjoy with it. We now have some really good God fearing conservative friends, too. I regret that it took his pain and suffering to make these changes come about, but I believe that God touched us, and led us to a better life. I only wish that you were as successful, too. Best Wishes from rural Alabama.  (Apr 10, 2010 | post #13)

Armed Tallassee man shot, killed by police

I am the Dept of Homeland Security representative to Macon, Elmore, and Tallapoosa counties. I know these Tallassee Pd people, and I support them. Hammertwo, you do the crime, you do the time, if you survive the encounter. What these Officer's do with their own personal time is none of your business, that is if you really know what they do at home. I doubt that you do. Hearsay is no reason to trash these people, and if we ever have proof that these Officers do break the law, they are treated the same as you would be if you were arrested for a crime. So, I would advise you to put up or shut up. If you have proof, bring it to us, and we will investigate them. Otherwise, beware of character assassination, and libel. They are crimes, too.  (Apr 10, 2010 | post #2)

Gun found near body of 20-year-old killed by police in Ta...

Been here twenty years, and seen the projects fill with Police many times. That "son" you all are lamenting about pointed a handgun at Police. I know the two Officers that were involved in the "justified shooting". Had the perpetrator not gotten himself involved in the arrest of another subject, he would be still alive today. When the Police come to arrest a subject, don't get involved, and never point a handgun at the Officers. They will kill you, to protect themselves. And, no, the gun wasn't "planted " at the scene, not with his fingerprints, DNA, and the same pocket lint in the gun's workings that matched the clothes he was wearing. If I was involved in an altercation with Police, I would be printed up in the Tallassee Tribune, so get used to it. You do the crime, you do the time, unless you use a handgun against the cops involved. Then you get eternity looking at the wrong side of the grass.  (Apr 10, 2010 | post #9)

Police shoot, kill man in Tallassee

The Alabama Bureau of Investigations and a grand jury has called the shooting "justified ". Any fool that points a handgun at Police is asking for a ticket to hell. I know both Officers personally, though I do not like them very much. I will not question their professional judgment, nor will I condemn their decision to shoot this fool. You point a weapon at a law enforcement officer, they ARE going to shoot you. Guaranteed. Whether you are a friend or relative of this "gentleman " who died because he was stupid, get used to it.  (Apr 10, 2010 | post #4)
