Gay Marriage - Barbourville, KY

Who's to say that plain lust or the whole fling, and the understanding that u might've gained from the endeavor Gods will? Real Question, I am of the thought that if something even happens all it is in one way or the other God's Will. The Messenger, I like ur thought process.  (Feb 17, 2013 | post #243)

A God of Love?

Are we to stray from the task of helping one simply because the many will not praise the endeavor? There are also very different levels of bad.  (Feb 3, 2013 | post #12)

Most repulsive to actually witness the exacerbation of ignorance manifest. Sry my opinion elicited such a negative response from you. Perhaps your day will improve. If your apparent demeanor is any kind of indication, it is likely that whatever the outcome you will not b satisfied  (Feb 1, 2013 | post #6)

A God of Love?

. As of late, I have developed a few remedies some would call anecdotel (and very well may be) but have, at the very least alleviated some of the incessant consternation that would run rampant thru my conjurations. I can share if u would like, othrwise I would hate to bore. Sry 4 the fragmentation. I cant c the whole comment box like i used to on this site or amount of remaining characters.  (Jan 31, 2013 | post #4)

A God of Love?

The obviously missplaced and disproportionate sorrow and angst exhibited the world over. with The same anonymity, ambiguity and cruelty r displayed simultaneously but on a much broader scale and with lower levels of comfort then the poorest of the poor experience in this country. I could never rationalize the seemingly inherent wickedness exhibited by most humans, soley to gain an advantage on another soul. Some would say that the truly kind, (the kind that hides no motive) exist primarily to provide fuel to the appetites of those that would only take. . I have an inate and inescapable need to be able to make sense of any given subject before i can accept it as tru. Naturally the concept of God's imminent love, coupled with his apparent allowance of evil would cause confusion. Still does.  (Jan 31, 2013 | post #3)

A God of Love?

That was my biggest stumblin block when pontificatin on the God Dilemma. His existance, or justification for pain and needless agony i suffered as a child, caused by no actions of my own.  (Jan 31, 2013 | post #2)

Racism, lets talk about it.

Hell yes I'm back, for good this time. I'm at Ft. Knox medically retiring from the Army. I've grown wary of the whole oligarchy. Different strokes you know? Also, I agree with you. You've always been logical and analytical, which are two things that don't often coincide on this site. I look forward to more discussions.  (Jan 6, 2013 | post #39)

Racism, lets talk about it.

Racism is rooted deeply in ignorance plain and simple. I'm black and feel in no way threatened by a discussion about racism. Matter of fact i prefer to discuss it, at depth and sincerely. Like it or not, it's a part of the human experience. We can only benefit from treating each other as what we are brothers and sisters. It's important to understand how interwoven we truly are. Everything on this planet and universe for that matter is connected in a very intricate way. From the granite on Mt. Everest to the tiny piece of corn that seems to take delight in getting stuck between your teeth. We are the culmination of stardust. Everything is energy, molecules and atoms moving at great speeds. We jus happened to b spliced with a soul. We all fit into some niche, and to b honest I don't think there are 6 degrees of seperation btween any of us. Also, anyone can b a victim of senseless racism, but perhaps the anomosity towards broaching the subject with some minorities, comes from the prolonged exposure to different degrees of racism, with different frequency. It's one thing to experience it a handful of times, and another completely to b subjected to it countless times over the course of ones existence. Regardless any opportunity to talk about it should be welcomed and embrassed. It may help further someones understanding. 1 person makes it worthwhile.  (Jan 5, 2013 | post #34)

Lol. I'm not quite that inflammatory spec. I will admit to being drawn to the slums too often. After a while it just feels like bullying. I do miss our debates. Here's to thoughtfully debating opposing views. Seems like topix has lost some mojo.  (Nov 18, 2012 | post #11)
