Ganim's sentence reduced, former mayor to be released next summer

Joey truly loved Bridgeport and did a lot for her........his only flaw was he got greedy. The man has paid for his sins, let him go on with his life, he has a lot to contribute to society  (Oct 9, 2009 | post #38)

nobel "PEACE" prize?

In his 1895 will, Alfred Nobel stipulated that the peace prize should go "to the person who shall have done the most or the best work for fraternity between the nations and the abolition or reduction of standing armies and the formation and spreading of peace congresses." For some, Obama's school message resonates

"I think he was telling us to do our work and try harder this year. Last year, we didn't try that hard," Love this quote from the the article from a 13 year old girl.......Why didn't she work hard last year, during an election year?  (Sep 9, 2009 | post #12)

Trumbull denies report of abduction attempt

Bad things happen every where. My biggest concern is I actually received 8 different emails about this, in all the stories were similar yet different enough to cause me to be suspicious........ all had the same name attached but with different phone numbers, of the 3 that I called two were not answered and one had a full voice mail. I know from experience that the police departments do take an attempted child abduction seriously.  (Sep 8, 2009 | post #18)

Bluefish rally to win in 11th inning

Despite the rain, the game was worth staying till the end for........the 11Th innings was exactly why we love the Bluefish, they pulled it all together and played as team. And it was great seeing Matt Pike pitch.  (Jun 21, 2009 | post #1)

Bluefish's Greenberg turning it around

My son loves to watch Adam, as he really focus' on his game. His concentration level is probably better the any other Bluefish player. Watching Adam, you see someone who truly loves to play baseball.  (Jun 21, 2009 | post #1)

All girl team comes up to bat

Sadly, not all towns let girls play in coed leagues........... in CT maybe but in some areas it is still not accepted. And very few towns will have an all girl team. Boy, am I glad someone like you thinks so highly of me. I am also glad all the negative, mean posts that were here before mine were removed..........  (Jun 15, 2009 | post #21)
