New city service center, natatorium nearing completion

That entire area cover what used to be Columbus square is what happens when people can spend and do as they please. Remember the old school board was going to spend a half a million on a statue out front of that library and people called them on it. Look at the new school board building, the taj mahal they called it yet our county kids were being taught in mobile homes but they had to have it. We got a new school board now with some more reasonable people on it, lets hope they abandon the old ways and do whats best for the children and the county.  (Feb 23, 2013 | post #2)

Is the Columbus music scene legitimate

Boy did I go off topic with that last post, sorry. I am relatively new here so give me a break, LOL I think the Columbus Music scene is legitimate, I have enjoyed the bands and performers I have heard when I have been out and about.  (Nov 17, 2012 | post #771)

Do you approve of Teresa Tomlinson as Mayor?

I don't know of anything she has really done so far, please enlighten us. I agree with others, I give her a pass because of her looks, terrible of me isn't it.  (Nov 17, 2012 | post #24)

Is the Columbus music scene legitimate

I have listened to this radio station and have actually enjoyed it but they end up throwing a rock rap song in and I cannot enjoy it. So musically knowledgeable people, when did rap infuse with rock and metal? Why do people find it "innovative " when they combine two music types? Its like making a tuna and jelly sandwich, yeah, its something new but it sure doesn't taste very good. I heard a bluegrass rendition of Blue Oyster Cults "Don't Fear The Reaper" and although a novelty, it wasn't something I would want to hear again. Excel at what you do, avoid the gimmicks.  (Nov 17, 2012 | post #770)
