LOL! Hell, if anything my sister needs to GAIN weight. She's 5'11" and skinny as a rail. Model thin, really. Not sure what she weighs. Probably around 140 pounds or so. And for the most part, flat-chested. However one thing that isn't so attractive on her is her face. She doesn't wear make-up very often, and so her freckels show very clealry against her pale skin and her eyes always seem to have that puffy "I just woke up" look. Ironically, she won Homecoming Queen in High School. Fairly rare for an athlete to win over the cheerleader-type who usually wins. And tha's nothing against cheerleaders as they're athletes in their own right, but my sister was the star volleyball player, track runner, and above average basketball player. She played volleyball in college and played an inter-city league for several years until she got married a couple years ago. Her and her husband dressed up like Trinity and Neo from the Matrix series several years ago for a Halloween Party, which they pulled off pretty well actually, but I always thought they looked more like Claudia Black and Joe Flannigan from the Stargate franchise. Claudia who played Vallah Maldoran from SG-1: Seasons 9 & 10. And Joe who plays Col. Sheppard from SG:A.  (Friday Nov 20 | post #1459)

No, you misundestand me. No sexual relations are going to occur. What I was saying is that because we kidn of had your typical siblign rivalry back during our school days, we were never really that close. But now that we're both in our 30s and our folks are reaching their 70s, and developing health problems, pretty soon I and her will be all we have. So I believe it's a good time to rekindle our relationship as adult brother and sister so that by the time mom and dad croak, we'll be a bit closer than we were when we'd used to squabble as kids. And no, I have seen her many times since '95, it's just that she has lived away from home since '95. She was about 90 miles away to the east when she was in college, and now she's around 200 miles away to the southeast, and so we don't get to see one another much. One of the main reasons for that is that I've been hanidcapped since '98 and traveling on my own is impossible. Otherwise, I would have paid her a visit more often. She does come home from time to time, more specifically the holidays, and sometimes for other reasons.  (Thursday Nov 12 | post #1446)

Wow, 14 year difference? God man, she's nearly twice your age! Damn near old enough to be your mother. I'd be careful with that situation. My sister is 32, but I'm 36. She's married to a fella who is 11 years older than she. Back when we were younger, I used to try to cop a feel, and at times, she didn't have a problem with it, probably around the time she was in late elementary and/or middle school, while I was in HS. But she gradually became quite reserved and modest and started rejecting my "advances ". This was when she was in HS, and I in college. It's kind of too bad that she wasn't one of these sexually permissive types. She was never the one who would wear skimpy shorts and tank-tops around the house. Always wore the long nightgowns. Anyway,I've talked to her recently over the summer, that we need to rekindle our relationship somewhat as she's been out of town since she went off to college in '95. New restaurants and one big business coming to town.

Unfortunately no... However, there is a rumor that Taco Johns may put in a store in the old Old National Bank drive-in at the corner of Commerical (Rt. 45) and Raymond St. And according to a Daily Register article about new highway contruction from last Friday, there are a couple of companies each interested in the old Wal-Mart building as well as the old IGA. Three of the four companies wish to remain "secret" , but one was willing to reveal itself as Safeway Foods for the IGA building. New Pizza Hut is nearing completion. Still a bit of work to do on the parking lot, but that shouldn't be too difficult to finish off. Plus they have to demolish the old store.  (Monday Nov 9 | post #6)

Yes, that's true. For cousins, it's only 4-6% rather than 2-3% for normal couples. But for siblings, its around 20-25%, I believe. But it just depends on genetic history within your family. I have a feeling though that a lot of posters on this board who talk about incestuous relations with their siblings, may be products of such relations themselves.
