U doin em right! I thought I was gon die hen I first started. If its burnin its workin. If it dont start burnin by the time u finish the set, then u aint doin em right...Shit i had 2 stop doin da standin kick backs cuz my back would hurt. Do the donkey kicks 50 per leg. Make sure u do them slowly so u get a good burn. Since u jst startn, dont worry bout da weights. Start wth none and see how it does. When your sets start feeling easier to u, get 5-10 lb ankle weights. As for my diet, I tried to stick by da book but could not. Basically I try to stay away from fast food as much as I can, I eat alot of fruit, yogurt, whole grain cereals, and try to eat healthier meals. Oh, it is imperative that u do not drink soda. I drink water or gatorade instead (really helps shrink the waist). Just start and dont worry bout doin every little thing or u might quit. Do what u can(but consistently), and as it becomes routine add something ese. Trust, when u start noticing ur booty changin, dat will b all da motivation u need. Good luck gurl! I have always been thin Im only 5'7 and 132 lbs but my ass is alot rounder and thicker than ever b4. U r just the motivation I need to b more consistant and get that real huge ass by summer! stand straight holding on to something (lets say a ballet stretch bar for example or railing to the stairs. Keep your leg completely straight and lift to the back while flexing your glutes (short quick lifts) you can also google standing kick backs and see if there is a video clip that can demonstrate for you. Make sure you do not drink soda ne more, drink the soy milk each nite, cut back as much as possible on the fast food. I resorted to eating whatever I want but just keeping it as healthy as possible, drinking the milk, and doin the donkey kicks and pile squats every other day. I started at 50 per leg for both xercises w/ 5-10 lb ankle weights for the 1st 3 wks, then increased reps to 150. I have not been able to do it as regularly as I should but my butt is rounder, fuller and more toned from just what I have been doing? If u want to try to stick straight to the book, to answer ur question you should be doing the xercises Mon, Wed, and Fri-50 reps the first 3 wks and then move up to 150. Please be warned: make sure you eat like 5 times a day or you will be too weak 2 exercise. 2 of these eating times can b just like snacks ( an apple, banana, etc.) Good luck 2 yu!  (Jan 6, 2008 | post #41)
