Senator addresses key issues in community

Neighbors Oppose Group Home

What has happened to taking care of our own? I suppose that if the neighborhood has enough monies to shun this, I surely hope this happens to them. "Off topic": if the mayor or anyone with the money to make it happen, there sure would not be a blighted area like on the South east corner of Harrison and 72nd streets. What an eye sore for people entering my neighborhood. All involved with the planning commission should feel embarrassed for letting this happen. We deserve a comment back.  (May 24, 2008 | post #3)

Council Approves Building Demolition

"....approved a nearly $3.5 million measure requested by Mayor Mike Fahey to tear down the Pinnacle Foods building to become a parking lot for the stadium." Wait until we don't have the old historic buildings and offices. What a poor excuse for such a political decision. We need someone to watch over our history and have complete say. Rather than the political help from our mayer.  (May 24, 2008 | post #2)

why do blacks have history month

You are so right on. The blacks have chosen to be hateful and distancing them selfs from the American race. We need to stop this bull about the BLACKS. They need to decide if they want to join the American atmosphere. Rather than using the hyphen,  (Feb 21, 2008 | post #1053)
