"Hump Dayyy!" banned in schools?

According to my peers, saying "Hump Dayyy!" on Wednesday, is now banned because of inappropriate usage of the day. Since "hump" also refers to sex... I wonder what would happen if one of the students shouted hump day...? It was all fun and games until someone decided to take the sexual connotation and make it a big deal.  (Oct 30, 2013 | post #1)

Teenagers... Smh.

I personally think it's messed up for parents to let their children do as they please. So long as you're under 18 and/or still live under their roof, you are expected to follow the rules. Honestly, I think good parenting requires keeping your kids/teens safe... and that means trying to prevent sex because it leads to all kinds of not good stuff. I mean, look at how different 12 year olds are now compared to the early 2000's; it's like they're 16 instead of 12. I hear of 12/13 year olds having sex all of the time, and I just don't see it as the right way to grow up. There is plenty of time to have sex and do as you please when you're older. Of course, I'm 18 years old... been in a couple of serious relationships, and I've always weighed the pros & cons of getting close with somebody in that way. The cons usually overpower the few pros that there are.  (Oct 23, 2013 | post #8)

Taylor Swift: 'Floodgates Open' for Next Album

That's pathetic. Do you think Taylor Swift would type like that? Common sense. And Topix isn't widely known.  (Oct 22, 2013 | post #14)

Teenagers... Smh.

Teenagers these days... I feel like most of them that I know, have NO self-respect, no guidance, no morality, no... nothing? Possibly. Sitting in school, hearing these conversations makes me realize how screwed up this generation is. I'm 18 and it's sad that I'm one of the only straight-edge people that I know. When I'm older and I have a kid, they will be NOTHING like any of these kids. One thing I don't understand, though, is how do parents know their children are sexually active and don't do a thing besides get them protection? Yes, that prevents pregnancy most times, but what about morals? What about when they are older, married, and they've already had many sexual partners? How will they feel? Parents need to teach their children to save themselves and have more self-respect. Be a PARENT. Not a FRIEND to your kid. ///rant over.  (Oct 21, 2013 | post #1)
