Gay marriage debate set to go public as both sides gear u...

I think it's strange that people keep looking for the "once and for all" solution that puts everything neatly in it's place. Nothing is permanent. Controversy will create the need for change and government will continue to clutter up the issues with politics. Over population will cause stresses that we can't foresee. Right now we have an economic situation that warrants measures that help households survive. That includes gay couples.  (May 31, 2011 | post #437)

Minnesota has been at this since 1971 with the "Baker v. Nelson" Supreme Court decision, and it resurfaces regularly. I don't think there are any clear cut decisions to be made, thus no compromise. Obviously the majority will decide the outcome for now, and future majorities will decide later. All I know is that people are struggling to get by right now, and as long as nobody is clamoring for interspecies marriage, let them circle the wagons however they can because it will change in the future anyway.  (May 30, 2011 | post #425)

Have it you way Jus Sayin, you win. We have long since lost the point anyway. Times are tough, and not allowing people to pair up with benefits according to their feelings is just ludicrous. On another note, have you noticed that PP has switched over to facebook for comments? I don't do social networking so I guess it's over anyway.  (May 30, 2011 | post #423)

Yeah right. Blah Blah Blah. You have brought nothing to any forum I have seen, so you must be stewing in the same juices. Passing judgement on others for you own flaws only adds more fuel to the argument that you are ignorant and arrogant as well. welcome to the club.  (May 28, 2011 | post #421)

It was stolen from Little Richard. He said it when he tried to convince the world he was straight.  (May 27, 2011 | post #414)

In the early 80's we would hunt for agates in the gravel pits until they kicked us out for the day. Then it was off to the Lookout for beers. It was a great place then. Sounds like it still rocks. BTW The blonde in the pink top at the Shanghai Bistro wants you ;-)  (May 26, 2011 | post #2)
