Some of them work the streets for a while with a FTO. Then they attend the police acedemy (KLETC) in south Hutch for 14 weeks. There is a class right now that ends 7/18/08. You may have also seen some of their reserve officers. IPD has a good department. I have know several of their officers and find them to be quite professional. (Jun 27, 2008 | post #2)
