Knoxville church claims NFL regulations cut Super Bowl fe...

You said it perfectly. Church is not about entertainment. That's what's wrong with these "contemporary " churches who try to please the worshiper with entertainment rather than pleasing the Lord. Super Bowl parties at church are a very bad idea.  (Feb 4, 2008 | post #48)

If you truly believe that "church is the devil" then you'd better hope you're right. Otherwise, I hope you like hot weather.  (Feb 4, 2008 | post #46)

Community reacts to Hamblen County murder

Ah, sorry I didn't know that WBIR was afraid to let people type type the word so it automatically blocks it. My apologigies. Come on WBIR. It's a real word when referring to it as a place.  (Jan 22, 2008 | post #47)

Community reacts to Hamblen County murder

You know it is okay to actually type the word **** instead of using ****. The word actually appears in the Bible. It is a real place and is okay to say it or type it.  (Jan 22, 2008 | post #46)

UT investigating possible fraternity hazing

I so agree with you about the "buying your friends" thing. Make friends the normal way. Real friends will not put you in harms way just to get their jollys.  (Jan 17, 2008 | post #111)

UT investigating possible fraternity hazing

Dear Frat, you are an idiot to be defending this kind of moronic infantile idiotic behavior. Start studying and stop wasting Mommy and Daddy's hard earned dollars at stupid fraternities. And don't give me the "we do good in the community crap".  (Jan 17, 2008 | post #110)

Two UT football players stopped with drugs while driving ...

This entire situation can be blamed on the coaching staff. The potential recruits should be chaperoned the entire time that they are visiting UT. And why on earth you would allow freshmen players to "host" recruits is beyond me. The punishment handed out to the players is ridiculous. They should have been dismissed from the team immediately. Oh but I forgot...they might potentially help UT win football games....so all sins are forgiven. I just love to say "football careers fade, dumb is forever".  (Jan 15, 2008 | post #165)
