Our Mayor And The City Of Metropolis

that road goes both ways my friend.that means no one is listening to what you have to say either because people do not care lol. Aww is the wittle baby gonna pout and stamp his little feet now that its been pointed out that no one listens to you either. Love how you keep trying to deflect the conversation away from the real issues. Typical smoke and mirrors and redirection. Yep you are definitely an elected official or corporate counsel.  (Aug 1, 2013 | post #62)

Chaney To Refocus His Efforts Away From Politics

ok whatever you say Rickie once again you quote another person as being me. That was not me. Are you so fuktarded that you don't get it that when I post something I own it and stick my name to it. You really are dense. I don't know how you completed law school quite frankly you must have cheated. As far as benefits go I know those benefits are provided by the law and there is nothing that can be done about it without a vote. Quite frankly I would care less about any of their benefits and I do not have it in for any elected official outside of them doing what is right and for the betterment of our city. Get over yourself and move on no one cares about what you have to say either mr royal mouthpiece for all of our city officials.  (Aug 1, 2013 | post #11)

Part 2 of 2 thanks to 4000 character limit Furthermore Look Up, as far as my news organization goes I do not use it to bash the city or its elected officials as you claim and accuse me of doing. Since I started my news organization page I do not bash anyone, unless of course you consider the fact that I report on the good and the bad of the city as bashing. If that is what you think then that sounds like a personal problem to me. I conduct myself and all activities associated with SCSNN in an extremely professional manner. Who was the first to report on the library and board of education vandalism? Did you see the Planet or any other media doing a story on this? No they didn't. I haven't seen anything from the Planet on this and the library Director even called the newspaper about it. This is just one of many stories I have covered that no one else has. Do you see anyone else pursueing the Lane Wolfe story? Of course not. I have been pursueing this story and I am in regular contact with the sheriff on the latest developments in that case. I could continue a list on stories that actually matter that i have done but I would be wasting my time trying to get through your delusions. In closing I would like to say this to you Look Up. Get over yourself and go find something else to do instead of making erroneous claims against me. The election is over, I will not be running again since three election losses obviously indicates that people don't want individuals in office who would have a positive vision and plan for a prosperous future in Metropolis and who would work for the people. The lack of voter turn out indicates that the citizens are quite satisfied with how things are here or they really do not give a crap less. Better to vote for the devil you do know than the devil you don't I guess. The fact that if any person at any given time who is a resident here decides to speak up or make a comment about our elected officials that is negative your tendency to jump on the "oh this is only Steve Chaney posting this" is a big indication that you sir are seriously out of touch with reality. There are quite a few unhappy citizens here with the direction this city has gone over the last 8-10 years or so. This is not a perfect city nor will it ever be no matter how much you want to stick your head in the sand and pretend that all is well in our fair city. Here's a suggestion for you. Look Up from your keyboard and get a reality check and a clue. And once again I have demonstrated that if I have something to say I am not afraid to stick my name to it! I own anything I have to say which is more than can be said of you. I don't need to use fake names if I have something to say, I am not afraid of City Hall, Mayor Billy, or any elected official local, state, or federal. Unlike a majority of Americans in this country I do not cower at the feet and strong arm of our government. If our government tries to strong arm me I will break their arm! Too bad you are just a scaredy cat to attach your name other than your mask name to your comments though.  (Jul 31, 2013 | post #54)

Our Mayor And The City Of Metropolis

PART 1 of 2 thanks to 4000 character limit One of my friends gave me a heads up and advised me very strongly to come on here and set a few things straight once and for all. Good morning Look Up so glad to see you're back with your shenanigans. Did you sleep well? So nice to see you stirring up crap once again. What a wonderful thing to read overmy morning cup of coffee! I'm sure everyone on Topix has missed you during your absence. First off, Look Up what is your problem? Election Day is over but yet you want to keep posting erroneous comments on here claiming that they are me making the comments just like I expected you would. Since you keep a file on me you would have known and seen the following post that I made immediately after the election, so your claims that I am posting as a sore loser who can't win an election bash bash bash is unfounded: Allow me to refresh your memory genius. Remember this post in April 2013 right after the election?: A Statement From KEH Even though I left this site at the end of the year I decided to come in here this one time and make a statement now that election day is over especially in view of the fact that someone has a file on me labelled sore loser. Anything I say is done ONLY under my name. The people have spoken all 18.25% of them that is. Lowest votet turnout ever. Shocking everyone got re-elected. That being said I am glad elections are over for 2 more years. Secondly, congrats to my opponent Kim Brown and Richard Corzine Jr. you two ran a tough campaign. I am happy that Kim Brown won. Richard you did teach me a few things with how you ran Kim's campaign. Best of luck to this city and the direction it will go over the next 4 years. Hoping for the best. (Apr 9, 2013 | post #1) Does this sound like me being a sore loser? Umm no! Are you really that effin stupid? Obviously you are. If you have such a problem with me why don't you show up and come meet me face to face and we can discuss whatever your issues are with me and see if we can come to some sort of resolution. Oh but that would be too adult-like and non-cowardice to do that. You clearly are a coward. As far as your comment of "Stevie, I'm back you still haven't learned" goes, what exactly am I supposed to learn from you pray tell? Seems to me like you need to learn a few things namely how to have some common sense and to how to keep your mouth shut.  (Jul 31, 2013 | post #53)

Happy New Year All!

Should old acquaintances be forgotten? When it comes to this site I am thinking yes. I wat to wish everyone the happiest and best 2013 ever! That being said I have decided to take a new direction in my life for 2013. I have decided to focus more on positivity and those things that actually matter. Unfortunately this site is neither positive nor does it matter in the overall scheme of things. For 2013 I am going to be focusing on things that matter and bringing my news page and news pursuits up to the next level. As such I will not have time to get on Topix anymore. I will still pursue the truth about Lane Wolfe and his mom and stepdad. What is found will be posted on my news page. For those of you interested my news page is www.facebook.com/S CSocialNetworkNews to contact me with any news items email at scsocialnetworknew [email protected] Once again I hope EVERYONE has the most prosperous and best new year ever in 2013! This will be my last post on here and I will be deleting my account and requesting topix to cancel it. Take care everyone and Happy New Year!  (Dec 31, 2012 | post #1)

It's Christmas Time

Put your problems on probation Run your troubles off the track, Throw your worries out the window Get the monkeys off your back. Silence all your inner critics With your conscience make amends, And allow yourself some happiness It's Christmas time again! Call a truce with those who bother you Let all the fighting cease, Give your differences a breather And declare a time of peace, Don't let angry feelings taint The precious time you have to spend, And allow yourself some happiness It's Christmas time again! Like some cool refreshing water Or a gentle summer breeze, Like a fresh bouquet of flowers Or the smell of autumn leaves, It's a banquet for the spirit Filled with family, food and friends, So allow yourself some happiness It's Christmas time again! Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas to each and everyone of you! The best of holiday wishes to all (and yes this includes you haters)!  (Dec 24, 2012 | post #1)

anyone hiring?

Last week one of the Hucks employees told me that they are still looking for a General Manager. Don't know what your work experience is but Willy Jaks will probably be hiring soon unless they are bringing back everyone that worked there prior to the fire.  (Dec 23, 2012 | post #11)

Fine me? What in the hell are you talking about there? Are you saying the Aldermen get fined if they go against the Mayor? If so this is news to me.  (Dec 23, 2012 | post #30)
