Considering Charges In Baby Death Case
She wasn't a "perfect "person.she had a felony rap sheet!drunk driving!I wonder if she had her kids in the car when this happened. An accident?I don't I'd call it that.( I would believe it were an accident if it was only a short period of time before she remembered, but 9 hours? please!)I call it neglegence! She didn't forget her purse or her keys.Just her baby.Sorry ,but ,to all the people who feel sorry for this woman, all I have to say is if you can condone this sort of behavior and call it an accident, then you too are capable of this same sort of neglegence.Normal people forget their purse or keys ,NOT thier Kids! Considering Charges In Baby Death Case
This was in the Rochester newspaper! "Dead baby's mother had earlier alcohol convictions Greg Livadas Staff writer (August 15, 2007) — The Wyoming County mother whose baby died after she left him in a hot car earlier this month has a previous felony record. According to records from the state Department of Motor Vehicles, Lynn Brol, 32, of Arcade was convicted of driving while intoxicated on April 2003 after an incident on March 21, 2002, in Cattaraugus County. She was fined $500 and given probation. She also had alcohol-related convictions in 2000 and 2001, and had her license revoked in 2001 and 2003. It was reinstated in 2005. Wyoming County District Attorney Gerald Stout said Monday that Brol would not face charges in the Aug. 2 death of her 5-month-old son, Brayden Brol, after Brol said she forgot to drop him off at day care. Stout cited several factors, including that the child showed no signs of abuse and that alcohol was not a factor in his death. Stout also said "special circumstances of Lynn Brol's life" would dictate a state prison term if she was convicted of criminally negligent homicide. Stout would not elaborate Monday, but a person with a felony conviction would face mandatory prison time if convicted of criminally negligent homicide. Stout said charging Brol with endangering the welfare of a child would be "kind of a cop-out" and ruled against letting a grand jury decide Brol's fate, saying it would be "cowardly of me to try to pass this on to a group of innocent people."
