Hey I just lost my insurance. I have chronic back issues (4 herniated discs). I had MRIs and they found the discs. I was waiting to get epidurals to stop the pain when husband lost his job. My back hurts so bad I can't even lift my kids. What do I do? My orthopod won't give me anymore prescriptions until I see him but I can't afford to go to him and pay for the medication. Need help

Tell me about it. I had liposuction on Thursday and my plastic surgeon acted as if I had two heads when I asked for more than 10 percocets. Not the strong ones either. Unless you are totally incapacitated, pain killers are almost impossible to get. I hate being in pain, but I guess I have no choice.  (Nov 11, 2008 | post #3)
