Why do you instantly believe the woman who worked for this city for 8 days and declare her to be honest? It's just as likely that she was unhappy being turned down for a pay increase within a week of starting work and decided to quit. It wouldn't look very good for future employment opportunities, unless she could blame the city somehow. I don't know her, can't say whether she is honest or not. But I believe every story has at least two sides. In this one, you have one person saying one thing and two saying the opposite. Why believe one over the other? I guess its a matter of choice.
