If you recall,John Latimer had mentioned that it 'helped' Kris to bake. (Obviously better than your apparent hobby of picking on victims). Oh, I have no doubt that Moyer will live in his own personal hell for the rest of his life. Looking at his own child will remind him every day. You know, Kris had 19 YEARS of cherishing and loving his precious daughter MORE & MORE EVERY single day. Moyer still has no clue of the total depth of a parents love. But he will in time. Because each day that he can actually hold his precious gift from God, in his arms,he will begin loving that child MORE & MORE EVERY single day. Perhaps your right George. I was more or less trying to look at it from a responsibility standpoint. (Not legal,just my own personal one). Lord knows, I'll be the first to admit that I have run the gates when they weren't working, and more than once. And from my standpoint, the responsibility comes into the picture as 'reasonable care'. Which is to say that, in a 3000 lb. vehicle, just that fact alone would negate MORE responsibility,com pared to a bicyclist. In other words, to almost have to show more 'reasonable care' just for the simple fact that it can be a dangerous weapon. And he couldn't because he was under the influence. I really do try to see both sides of a situation. But I apologize for being one sided. My only defense would be two points: One..I was really fired up at how unfair I thought they were being to the father. Two.. I am fighting a battle with a close relative who has also gotten DUI's(yes, plural) and I am DESPERATELY trying to get them to see how horrific this can truly become, if they don't stop being so dam cockey and thinking that they can 'handle' themselves when behind the wheel. And I'm praying EVERY day, it doesn't turn out like this. Why charge her if others get away with it????? BECAUSE others get away with it! I know it isn't always the case. But this man admited to it, also. But never mentioned the mothers behaviour. AND there were OLD wounds on her. OLD WOUNDS. Get it?? Why wasn't anything said before?? That would lead me to believe that she also had something to do with the old wounds. Im quite sure she had a cell phone. In fear for her life?? Give me a break!! You can't tell me, that in this day and age, with ALL the help that is available to couples or singles now, that she would not have had an opportunity to get help. Ever hear of Agape? Unless perhaps, if they had to take counseling and the baby went into temporary foster care, they MAY have lost a lot of their WELFARE BENEFITS? After all, Kids = Gold to parents on welfare.I don't know for sure, I don't know the circumstances. But there can't be too many other reasons that I know of that she wouldn't have asked for help. As many times that I have mourned for my sister,been angered at the injustice of it all, I can always say one thing. At least we had MANY times together in our lives, that we were happy, and we felt loved. This poor..precious innocent has emergered into this world of hatred,evil, and pain. And that is ALL this precious one has EVER known of existence for the six short months of her life. Apparently there was only one way for her to find love and peace. I don't see how some of you can be so heartless about a man committing suicide. I'm sure some of you would also say that he's taking the easy way out. It would never be an easy thing for him to leave behind the loved ones that he did. It would take unbelievable courage to commit an act like that, and to think not would mean that you would NEVER be able to understand the torment and horror that must have taunted him day in and day out. The inadequecy he felt at not protecting his children.(As I'm sure all true parents would have,no matter if it was true or not.) And on top of that, the injustice of our court systems, had to be the last straw. And the 'so called' accident? I still don't see how it could be an accident if he DELIBERATELY went through the railroad tracks. I'm sure he looked to the side to see if the train was coming. Why wouldn't he look straight ahead in the direction he was driving? Oh, that's right. He was drunk. Yet he also had the presense of mind to actually get out and call 911? Some people ACT like they don't participate in these, but that's why they have to use other names, to hide themselves. What they don't know is that they can be recognized by their style of writing.
