Won't It Be Great To Have A First "Lady" Again?

So basically a first lady who just sits in the back quietly, doesn't stand for anything, and conforms to the traditional gender roles of the 1950's.  (Apr 28, 2012 | post #2)

Does anyone on this forum have a student loan?

Master of Arts in Teaching degree will get you a job in teaching most likely.  (Apr 25, 2012 | post #5)

In College. Sophomore year. $36,000 in student loan debt so far, will only keep rising. I have a part time job at the library. Not enough enough to cover tuition. I will graduate with a bachelors degree and later a masters degree in teaching. The federal government will forgive my loans if I teach for 5 consecutive years in a title one school. Unless you have a free ride, It's really hard to go to college these days without having to take out a few loans. College tuition keeps rising faster than the rate of inflation and because of the economy federal aid are scholarship opportunities are decreasing. No tattoos (apparently its important to state whether you have them on topic)  (Apr 25, 2012 | post #3)

Gypsies at Walmart

Gypsies, tramps and thieves We'd hear it from the people of the town They'd call us gypsies, tramps and thieves But every night all the men would come around And lay their money down  (Jul 4, 2011 | post #18)

I agree with Obama...

The whole debt ceiling argument is just a ploy by the republicans to get the democrats to agree to make drastic cuts to the budget. Of course the republicans don't want the US to default on it's loans. That would cause the economy to double dip into a depression and hurt the global economy much like it did with Argentina, but the republicans are threatening to let default happen just to so they could pass their fringe agenda and court the tea baggers. Hopefully 14th amendment could still protect ourselves from defaulting even if they can't raise the debt ceiling, like I mentioned earlier.  (Jun 29, 2011 | post #20)

Pftt. I'm not Heavy, lol. You and I both know that heavy doesn't believe in education. He's one of those common sense anti-intellectual people.  (Jun 29, 2011 | post #9)

Common sense will only get you so far in life...eventually you'll need an education to make good decisions.  (Jun 29, 2011 | post #7)

Who cares if people with PhD's in economics says the global economy will tank if America does not raise their debt ceiling! No one listens to them anyway right?  (Jun 28, 2011 | post #3)
