does issa22 like black girls

I have only ever seen one AA man who said the things about BW I have read on this forum. This forum really does not reflect reality and more than likely a lot of these BW bashers are more than likely not really black. Most BM that I meet in real life love BW...  (Jul 21, 2009 | post #212)

Ok, I suppose normally a lot of African immigrants refer more to their ethnicity but AA could really be given to anyone from Africa in America...you used the term reserved before and that kind of threw me off, thanks for clearing that up.  (Jul 19, 2009 | post #2354)

Ummmm, I know that abdi has his views on the white and black race, to me saying AA is a bit different then just saying black because this is also an ethnicity and can actually include people of several colors like caramel and brown...etc. Him and I have spoke on this before and SG1 has the same views on some points., should I jump on him for that too? Issa and I have our disagreements from time to time but we're always respectful towards one another. I know you and abdi have your beef but thats between...you and abdi. BTW, that comment that you made about me not knowing any better and all was really uncalled for, I've had your back before and that didn't need to be said. Anywho, I am off to church now have a nice day.  (Jul 19, 2009 | post #2353)

AA can mean a lot of different people, it's basically Africans in America, and it's a great group to be a part of. If people respect your choice to identify with Somali here, then you guys should also do the same for others in respecting what they choose to identify with.  (Jul 18, 2009 | post #2312)

I remember learning about that in Western Civilization...kemet translates to black land which was in reference to the silt from the overflowing of the Nile. If I recall correctly.  (Jul 18, 2009 | post #2266)

I respect what people want to be called but that doesn't mean that I always agree with them, there are a few Somalis that I just want to tell to STFU to on a regular basis but it's not worth my time. BTW, what happened in here? It was fairly quiet when I left and now it's like guys gone wild all of a sudden.  (Jul 18, 2009 | post #2265)

Of course you don't like how I think, we're completely different in how we execute our ideas and everything...we're different people.  (Jul 18, 2009 | post #2264)

We just have to understand that people in other parts identify with things different from us. Here we lump people all together in colors and call them one but in other places people like to identify more with their culture. Given, that there are some racists on here who don't wanna be called black bc they are racist against AAs, there are other people that just want to identify with their home country. At the end of the day we just have to try and understand where the other one is coming from and we'll get along a little better. But, I'm out for awhile, enjoy the rest of your day.  (Jul 18, 2009 | post #2176)
