Stewart-Haas to announce Army will sponsor No. 39 -

Army prolly won't be there long anyway... if they are anything like national guard they'll be jumping to sponsor somebody else even if the team performs well. Same way how guard left Biffle. I've never liked that they only sign to one year deals.  (Oct 15, 2008 | post #25)

NASCAR must keep Goodyear on track

Not necessarily... like the broadcasters said, the 'big one' can happen from anywhere on the track, whether its by no fault of any driver or whether it is by driver error. The thing is that a driver can make a mistake real quick at a place like 'Dega and things get outta hand really fast. I'm not saying that Edwards didn't make a mistake, I just hate it when people try to take away from a driver's talent because of one accident. All the drivers out there have messed up at one time or another, but that don't mean they all gotta return to go-karts or that they ain't got brains.  (Oct 8, 2008 | post #54)

I can only wonder if y'all would think carl made such a 'dopey' mistake had he not taken jr. out. If he were so bad at drafting he would have caused a wreck long before he did... someone was gonna cause something the way they were racin out there.  (Oct 7, 2008 | post #46)

Joe Gibbs Racing has mixed emotions after Tony Stewart's ...

Ok Tony may be my least favorite driver, but unfortunately I am going to have to be on his side this one time... it wasn't a shove... more like a fight for real estate. NASCAR made the right call.  (Oct 7, 2008 | post #8)

NASCAR must keep Goodyear on track

Well said... the way how these cars run... he could have easily had a push and just so happened to bump biffle... i doubt he meant to bump him in the corner, it happens... he took himself out to so he paid for it. I don't know why these types of things are always passed off as "rookie" mistakes because vets make plenty mistakes too.  (Oct 7, 2008 | post #32)

NASCAR must keep Goodyear on track

Oh please he was bump drafting and Biffle lost it... coulda happened to anybody... doesn't mean he don't kno how to draft... if that were the case he woulda lost the draft and been lapped like jimmie was lol. Its called an ACCIDENT for a reason. Seroiosly though, Goodyear needs to look at its tire program cuz this needs to stop  (Oct 7, 2008 | post #27)

Carl Edwards Wrecks the Field

I don't know what the big deal is... if it weren't carl then it would have been someone else. I think every driver has wrecked another driver by mistake before... doing it at talladega spells disaster but anyone coulda done it. I still don't know how Jimmie got through, I don't want him to 3-peat. Greg almost got stewart too... o well  (Oct 6, 2008 | post #12)

Tony Stewart snapped his 43-race winless streak on Sunday...

Well i aint a stewart fan in any sort of way... never will be... but its better than seeing kyle, carl or jimmie win for once... bout time someone else won.  (Oct 6, 2008 | post #18)

New paint scheme for #24 Jeff Gordon in 2009

Looks like Jeff will be changing his paint scheme for next year... the current trend seems to be every time there's a new president in office, he changes the paint scheme... hmmm. I for one was a bit nervous at first because I "LOVE" the scheme he runs now, I "loved" the rainbow scheme, and I "loved" the fire scheme. From what I have heard they are calling this one FIRESTORM. Nice ring to it huh?:D After seeing it, I realized that they've really only changed the blue base to a black base, yes BLACK, and have added more gold to the flames. I "LOVE" IT. Hey the last time Jeff changed his paint scheme, he up and won the championship... !#24 in '09! Here's a link for those who haven't seen it yet... http://www.jayski. com/schemes/2009/2 4cup.htm  (Oct 2, 2008 | post #1)

Kyle Busch coming of age

I happen to believe that maybe this was "KARMA" for jr. He did wreck Kyle last year you know. I've never heard of payback for payback lol. Isn't 10 a bit harsh, dang it ain't like he made jr. fly over the fence.  (May 6, 2008 | post #595)

Kyle Busch cheap!! Wrecking Earnhardt?

Gee this is funny lol. All of a sudden everyone dislikes Joe Gibbs organization... with the exception of Stewart... funny i've always disliked only Tony. Yeah Denny cheated and he was penalized as he shoulda been, but it ain't like it hasn't happened before. I remember Craven doing the same thing at Martinsville a while back... do u hate him too? They were racing and Busch probably did go in too hard, but it happens in racing all the time. I know its tough when its jr. and especially because he hasn't won in so long, but it happens, get over it. My thing is it doesn't matter who it is that wrecks jr. because all of jr. nation will think that whoever did it is a dumba** who needs to quit racing. What y'all seem to have forgotten is that it was apparently ok when sr. did it. Weren't no angry raging fans then.  (May 6, 2008 | post #212)

do you think Nascar's T.V. coverage sucks?

What does having a racing background have to do with broadcasting a race? As long as he knows his stuff it shouldn't matter. I watch NASCAR and basketball and know about both sports. Rusty DOES have a racing background and quite frankly i think he sucks as an analyst. Just because he used to play basketball doesn't mean he's clueless about NASCAR. I used to see Bill Weber broadcast some BB games too actually... And how do you know that the only reason why he has the job is because of a diversification program? You may not have intended to, but I think you sound racist.  (Nov 15, 2007 | post #20)
