Wow.. It edits W.T. **** . (Dec 6, 2010 | post #125)
is this person trying to say????? (Dec 6, 2010 | post #124)
Gee, let me get this straight. Jay walking is illegal, you SHOULD get a ticket. Loitering is illegal, you should get a ticket, (though I think you meant littering which is also illegal). Dog leash law is just that...a law, break it and get a ticket. No problem here that I can see. The more undesirable you make the city for the low life criminals, the sooner they move on to a different are. GOOD RIDDANCE. (Dec 3, 2010 | post #7)
The CHP reported. The CHP reported. The CHP reported. The CHP reported. The CHP reported. The video cameraman reported. WOW! That was a whole lot of reporting on this little article. Tribune, PLEASE get some real journalists working at your newspaper! (Dec 2, 2010 | post #2)

Oh yes, we must be politically correct yet again. Blame the trains and their designers and not the nimrods that try to circumvent the in-place safety measures. One example that comes to mind is the rail system in Europe specifically the Netherlands. The trains go through all the towns at grade level. Even the bicyclists (of which there are hundreds if not thousands per town) know better than trying to out-run a train to get across. Do I feel sorry for the gate runners...nope. I do feel sorrow for the train engineer that had no way to prevent the collision (I won't call it an accident since the person deliberately went around the arm) and must live with the fact that someone was killed on his watch. Take some responsibility people and use your brain cells! (Nov 30, 2010 | post #5)
And what part of my apology did you not understand? (Nov 30, 2010 | post #38)
ARE YOU SERIOUS? They do travel a specific path...It's called the tracks. They are known by the big arms that raise and lower with all the pretty flashing red lights on them. Sorry, I went on a rant and then realized you were tongue in cheek...hopefully. (Nov 30, 2010 | post #33)
I wish I could have been on that jury. (Nov 29, 2010 | post #2)
What is being on self defense? (Nov 29, 2010 | post #66)
On my way to work this morning going up Azusa Canyon the crossing gates were down at about 5:40am. The dipstick behind me, first rode my bumper all the way up to the gates and then when no train came started racing his engine at me. I put my car in park and sipped on my coffee. He then decided to flip a U-turn. He starts to go and the gates start to go up....he backs up and stays behind me till the gates are all clear and then whips around me like a bat out of hell. Flips me the bird! I agree with the statement about 3 minutes tops. I'm just not in that damn much of a hurry to chance going around those things. I too believe it fosters 'natural selection'. Not shaking hands after the game IS pretty tacky, I'll agree. I however missed this point as after the final play I was beating feet to get the hell out of the rain. I do not put all the blame on the players. Kiffen has the responsibility of making sure his players behave in a respectable manner, as they are young adults and still require guidance. You are talking young men here 18 to 23 year olds. You seem to take this all pretty personally. There is quite a bit of difference between saying that the ND players acted tacky (in my humble opinion) and calling the SC players classless. No need to advise me on living in a glass house, I see clearly and don't throw stones anyway. (Nov 28, 2010 | post #15)
Forgot to add, It was pretty tacky the way ND tried to get in the tunnel ahead of USC at half-time. Total lack of class on their part IMHO. (Nov 28, 2010 | post #7)
Sadly I must agree with you. I always back my team, but cannot find it within myself to day anything good about Kiffen. He made some completely assinine play calls yesterday. My boys really needed an **** chewing for all the false start penaltys they racked up. Hated to see the loss at the last home game for the seniors, but there is only one winner in each game. If ND can beat us 7 more times in a row then they will get accolades from me. However, I do congratulate them on yesterday's win. (Nov 28, 2010 | post #6)
