You quote the bible loosely... yet you alter it to fit your needs... A MANS JOB IS TO PROVIDE AND PROTECT!! there is no on and off switch to that.. you can change the verbiage..color code it however see fit...but it doesn't change..THE WORLD REALLY IS BLACK & WHITE.. the gray area is simply for those who select to alter what is true.. now.. How can I protect my children if I can't control them? How can I protect my investments if I can't control them? How can I protect my home if I have no control over it? How can I protect my business if I can't control it? How can a man protect his wife & his family if he has no control over them?? This is just common sense.. not some brainchild thought up in sex ed by the boys when they got separated from the girls.. You have such a negative depiction of black males that you immediately assume control means the 'color purple' 'ike & tina' but it isn't ..its having boundaries and mutual respect...allowing people to do what they were NATURAL born to do.. ... some sisters can be so hotheaded, that they don't even give a man space enough to be a man... I am about solidarity, community and restoring the black family.. Sisters hate the term obey and respect...and have a very difficult time understanding their innate role. "YOU CAN'T PROTECT WHAT YOU CAN'T CONTROL" What good is your husbands attempt to protect you when he can't even tell you to wait in the car when necessary?? Baby, let me handle this..go back in house....but noooo... you can handle it.. you're just a strong physically and mentally as he is, if not stronger.. let you tell it.. calm breeze.. you seem to be a passing acquaintance with humility.. every thing in life that is successful has roles.. businesses, groups, church, friendships.. why should marriage and the relationship between black men and women be any different? You display an individualistic mindset.. you state that black mothers have been successful raising children without fathers.. I don't disagree with that..but collectively this is an epidemic in which our children and community have suffered greatly. The mark of a mislead woman would be her inability to identify the downfalls in our community, acknowledge her strength, and concoct a plan to change it. 1. I agree. At no point did I state for black men to stop working.. There is a system however in place to make it a little easier for BW to be success than him.. similar to a man finding success easier than a woman..For the BM however it is worst b/c white america has succeeded in altering his image into a violent savage that should be feared. 2. American future prison build outs are determined by the number of black males in the third grade in public school. Not to mention it is a scientific fact that black males have more adrenaline than any other race.. hence, black boys have the highest rate of misdiagnosis of ADHD than any other race.. The referring source for initiating this disorder is school. You can't teach a girl the way you teach a boy period.. Some may succeed, but the failure rate of black males in public school hasn't really change since they started attending.. AT WHAT POINT DO YOU STOP AND LOOK THE CURRICULUM/SCHOOL SYSTEM AS A WHOLE?? And i don't think it is design for black girls to succeed.. I personally think they could do 10x better in the right environment as well. I'll continue later.... - justiz (Monday Dec 21 | post #148)

it amazes me how strong black women portray themselves..yet have no idea the true depth of their strength. A nation rises no higher than its women.. so the despair that black men suffer is not just a reflection of them it is a reflection of us (black women) as well. This in turn ruins our families which ruins our communities. you can go tit for tat..I know primarily the burden of restoration lies on the back of the black woman.. some say that's too much to bear.. but your bearing the effects of it any way.. - justiz (Sunday Dec 20 | post #16)
