KARE Minneapolis

The Last Temptation

It's about 1 AM and I just got back from a short half mile walk. Angelically quiet, beautiful moon. I went to the preserve again today. The rocky hills that made me feel ambulatory a few months ago felt almost nonexistant today. Don't cha just love jumping over those thresholds! Have you gotten a chance to walk this week? It must be tough with your schedule.  (Oct 24, 2007 | post #4)

The Last Temptation

I have, as well, always loved the outdoors, walking and horticulture. Three to five walks a day and paying attention to those annoying sodium crystals, fat grams and their friends have let me say adios to 24 pounds. So I am holding you to it, Pat! No lies, right? How are you doing?  (Oct 22, 2007 | post #1)

KARE ON LIVE DISCONTINUED

C'mon Gary, give us some more time!! The viewers who watch and participate are very loyal and we are out here in the Twin Cities doing our best to recruit new OnLivers. Many of us have also long anticipated the return of Pat Evans after the end of the morning show with Rosanne Battle. I must also add that there are a couple of inconsistencies with the original post. First, there are a couple of capitalization problems and second, the general manager is working on Sunday?!?!  (Aug 12, 2007 | post #4)

$20/hr for each mover,

I have some rather awkward and heavy furniture, hundreds of cactus with nasty little spines, many, many boxes of books (quite heavy) and lots of be very careful! electronics. With this lot, $200 for five hours seems quite reasonable. I would DEFINITELY interview these guys!  (Aug 12, 2007 | post #3)

KARE OnLIVE - Kare 11 TV Geek Squad answers your questions

Hey Jeanne! That is what I have been doing too. It just drives me crazy when I can't get something to work! I should have been a Maytag repairwoman! When I finally get out to MOA, I will ask them at the Apple store and let you know. Julie  (Jul 24, 2007 | post #10)

Are you a hero?

I have been reading your posts on the OnLive chat. It is amazing and wonderful you survived the Cancer. Your writing proves you are an intellegent, humorous, humanitarian and world is so much better with your presence! I can no longer give blood either due to a medication I need. I do, however, do as you do and try to pass along the message that it is a simple, necessary act. Save Lives! Donate!  (Jul 24, 2007 | post #2)

Traffic deaths top 40 in June

Hi! I'm not a trainer, I just have some extra time. I NEVER answer my cell phone or dial it while driving. If I have the ability, I don't allow other drivers either. For example, my dad won't listen to me on this....If a call is supremely important, I pull over for it. We drove for a hundred tears without them and I know we can now.  (Jul 23, 2007 | post #3)

To Flip Flop or not. That is the question!

I have worn flip-flops for as long as I can remember with, fortunately, no dire consequences. I have many pair and switch them often. I also go barefoot quite often which I understand isn't always great for the footsies. I bought my best pair of flip-flops, made of tires, in Mexico over ten years ago and they are still going strong.  (Jul 18, 2007 | post #1)

Celebrating the 4th of July!!

When I had back surgery and looked at the MRIs, I asked "whats this, whats this?" The surgeon answered at one point "It's gas. Everyone has it. We all pass gas twenty or more times a day and most of the time we don't even know it". Something else we all have in common. I'm hoping this ends the topic!  (Jul 8, 2007 | post #28)

Man killed by train in Barrett County

There are hundreds of people a year killed by trains in the US. Do you think they were ALL drunk?  (Jul 8, 2007 | post #3)
