dont be so hard on those who are disabled and on mediare and ss or disability... being on diability is not by choice. it happens to the best of us, no matter what age we , it can happen as in our case, my hubby decame disabled 4 years ago beleive me not by choice, and he wishes he could out there each and every day and work liek he ise to, but cant, then there are those who are plain out lazy and dont work, that is what make the ones who cant look bad. being diables is not by choice. and my husband gets ssi, and no he doens not get mediare., i pay for his ins thru my employer so we are paying our part, yes his check is a check not much butit helps esp when he cant work, and he has worked all his life since he was 14 yrs old so he deserves to be getting disability , but yet again not by choice...  (Aug 28, 2009 | post #19)
