No, all you have to be is a non-smoker. Its tough for both sides. People are striving for solutions. Smokers AND non-smokers know its a nasty habit. But non-smokers also have to realize that its an ADDICTION and it takes a really strong person to quit. Smokers don't smoke to irritate people, it just does. A hospital here had a gazebo, too, but now they removed it and you can't smoke on the grounds. There was always people in it, too, so they've really gone too far with it. It was fine where it was completely away from the doors of the hospital. (Nov 21, 2007 | post #1254)

UYeah, BUT...here we go again. Thw whole issue of smoke free is to protect thr employees, so having one whole casino smoking 100% cancels the whole plan. They have to go with separate smoking lounges off the casino floor to reach the employee protection agenda. PLUS, the ones that don't have but one property in AC would have a fit because they would be subjected to just that 25% and/or smoking lounges. Talk about a Pandoras box. (Nov 20, 2007 | post #1239)

Not everyine WANTS the casinos completely smoke FREE!! If they designate smoking lounges and the smoke is contained, smoking should not be an issue anymore for the non smokers. They WILL lose more revenue than they have already if they goes 100% smoke free. (Nov 20, 2007 | post #1231)

No quick payoff on Tropicana relicensing hearings -
The Tropicana had a turn around in Sept. when the new CEO took over. The casino looks wonderful again, the smoking areas are contained and they are treating their loyal players with grace.
