At least the South won the Civil War, 3 games to 2, AND the Southern Section went undefeated during the bowl games. I think we may have come to regret not holding the Cougars off in zero week; the Cougars would spare themselves the humiliation last night. Now we all know the answer to the trivia question "Name one California high school football runner-up that wasted their zero-week victory over an opponent that plays in the section that went undefeated in the state bowl games or the same season." Giving a victorious team their well-deserved dues and scrutinizing a team that doesn't get the job done. There will be people who want to crucify me for my partisanship and expression-laced rhetoric, but I don't believe in weapons or blasting people to bits. I am one of the masses of registered users on Topix who enjoys commenting on the subjects that interest me. If you have a problem with it, tough. It's clear I touched a chord. But I stand by what I write. Life's too short to start a flame war and whinge after the fact. Why? Cause it's not gonna make any difference. And I'm proud of that.
